Dr. Linda Ivana Sodoma

Do not settle! If it feels wrong in a doctor’s office, it is wrong! If you need a basic gynecologist or skin care, this place is probably fine. However, if you have any needs that require surgical intervention, I would not recommend Dr. Sodoma or her office. I was actually told, “I know patients like you and I know what you need.” In actuality, I was offered an extremely invasive abdominal surgery and was told by Dr. Sodoma that it “would be hard for her”. My trust was utterly broken and I was eventually able to find a skilled surgeon who could do the surgery with minimally invasive techniques. It was so dehumanizing and baffling. I was spoken to rudely by several office personnel due to my insurance being complicated and demanded payment up front. I was pressured to book the surgery and told I needed to make non-refundable down payments immediately to hold my place. I was also requested to submit to extremely expensive tests including an MRI without explanation why, the answer being,… “This is standard procedure, we discussed this in your surgical consult. It’s in your packet.” Absolutely it was not, there was no paperwork outlining the need for additional tests at all! Once I moved to another more experienced surgeon, they could not fathom why I’d have needed a MRI for my procedure. The care and empathy for someone receiving tough surgery news was non-existent. This office is all business and about the money without the doctor’s skill to back it up. If you need surgery, please skip this office and keep looking for a skilled gynecological surgeon who will kindly and wisely walk you through your process.

I have hormone imbalance. It has caused many health issues. I saw a psychiatrist who suggested I see a hormone specialist. When I saw Dr. Sodoma, she didn't look at any of my history, said she could only help menopausal women, & told me to see a psychiatrist. She did not listen to me at all. She provided no help at all.

I've had a few different OBGYN's and they do not compare to Dr. Sodoma and her office staff. They are ALL extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Sodoma takes her time with me when I go in and makes sure she gets all the details needed and goes above and beyond. I also just called the office and spoke with Ann , she was so wonderful. I asked her questions , and she took her time answering every question I had. She was very sweet and offered a call back to me.

I am so happy with my choice of Dr. Sodoma for the birth of my daughter. This being my first pregnancy I was very nervous and choosing the right doctor I looked for a month and read many reviews. I couldn't find a doctor they didn't have bad reviews. I finally went with my gut and chose doctor Sodoma. She with great throughout my whole pregnancy she was funny and nice made me feel comfortable. Still. I was nervous about my birth because of the reviews I read. when the day came and I was in labor it was am AMAZING experience! I love everything about my birthing experience and Dr Sodoma was incredible. She had a great bedside manner and respected my wishes to have a natural labor. Everything didnt go exactly as I plan, then again nothing does, but I am so happy with the choice to trust her judgement. I have wonderful lasting memories and a beautiful healthy baby girl. when doctor said I am I came to see me the next day she was very caring and I was happy to thank her. I wont go to anyone… else and will forever have a special place in my heart for her.

After the birth of my child, I later had feelings of regret and feeling like I was pushed into agreeing to a c-section. At the time, my child was a breech baby, but I was not yet full term. Dr. Sodoma made me feel like c-section was my only option which I later found out it was not. I felt so angry that I let the fear she instilled in me ruin my plan for an all natural birth. The beautiful experience and memories of natural child birth I had with my first child were so different than the feelings of fear, pain and regret with my second child and the worse part is those moments can never be replaced. I only wish Dr. Sodoma had atleast let me try and have a natural birth instead of pushing so hard for c-section when as I look back my child was never really in any serious danger,and who knows if he may of turned on his own?

Ive been seeing Dr. Sodoma for about 8 years now. She has performed surgery on me for precancerous cells, 2 miscarriages and I have also had 2 c-sections. One pregnancy I had complications which she took very good care of me through. She has been great through it all! She is also so nice, happy and patient with any questions I have had. The office staff is also very friendly.
