Dr. Lionel Sidney Foster JR., MD

Dr Foster has good bedside manners, but as a Dr he sucks. He treated me for testicular infection for several months. Dec 2019 to end of Feb 2020. Got another opinion from a Urologist in Sacramento. Immediately determined that my testical had become necrotic caused by prolonged infection. Preop workup done same day as appointment day. Had a ORCHIECTOMY done. If you need a Urologist do not see Dr Foster you will not get the proper treatment. Seek treatment elsewhere.

Dr Foster is a good doctor he made me all better now

This is a Specialist that we originally thought had come to our rescue. However, he is entirely too busy to provide quality care. My daughter was in the ER recently, 2 1/2 hrs. from Oroville. ( relocated from the Camp Fire) The ER Doctor called and spoke to Dr. Foster. Both he and his nurse thought waiting for an appoinntment would be the answer. I left several messages ar his clinic to discuss the results of the phone consult, nobody returned my call. The lical ER here even preformed labs and pre op work so that Dr. Foster could reinsert her catheter. Several people we spoke to were frustrated that this was my daughter's Specialist and he provided no effort to alleviate her pain. They left her in briefs. She's an active power chair user. Merry Christmas to her.

He may have a wonderful bed side manner, but when it comes to being professional he sticks out like a sore thumb. In the waiting room it takes a very long time. He did a surgery on my husband that should not of ever taken place according to several other doctors. After the surgery where he was stitched back together it was a blundered mess. We had to go see another surgeon to have him put back together properly. My husband will never be the same, mentally or physically thanks to Dr. Foster. Please get a second opinion if you see him.

Dr. Foster, this morning you did surgery on me and I wanted to thank you for your kind words. You are amazing. Anyone would be lucky to have you in their care. I was in pain for 6 months and you diagnosed me immediately and after this morning I no longer feel the knife stabbing pain. I am so relieved and feel so much better. Thank you a million times. You are truly a good Dr.

I am writing this review mainly for his staff. Rebecca placed me on hold for more than 10 minutes, she also informed me that my niece of 4 years old who is a patient there may have kidney failure, yet she can only give us an appointment until the 26th. Her tone and demeanor were very condescending.

Hard to see, and when he's finally is available he doesn't correct the problem. When I walked into his office a year-and-a-half ago I felt great and could urinate. Now after 3-operations I'm in constant pain when I urinate with no end in sight. He's stretched to thin to do a good job.

Good doctor, however very hard to see. He's a very busy man.
