Dr. Lisa Maria Dix-Emperador, MD

Dr Dix, is very shallow in her treatment of patients. I was recently under her care through force of being hospitalized. Dr. Dix failed to read the report and treated for a chronic condition instead of an acute illness for which I was hospitalized. Upon a rushed discharge she prescribed medicine for which I had no machine at home nor prescription to obtain. My pulse oxygen hung around 88 to 92 %. It was hard to thank much less speak. Dr Dix. Told me I was rambling and walked out of my hospital room. She never arrived at the hospital before 17:00 hrs and even skipped a day of making rounds. I'm almost positive she billed for it. However it is unfair to assume she did. Her beside manner and all around care was atrocious. Methodist Metropolitan Hospital downtown was a super hospital. I pray they review her independent contract and either terminate it or send her for training to remind her of the scope of what being a professional consists of. If you have had or possibly could find… you or your loved ones in her care pay close attention. Incompetence and negligence run a close race when it came to this Dr and her treatment of my illness. I have been home 2 days and still fill very I'll. The prescription for two medicines could not be filled per heb pharmacy because they written in away that required Dr Dix clarification.
