Dr. Lisa Earnest IshII, MD

She did a procedure for me. She either lied or made a terrible mistake. Either way, left a terrible permanent scar even though she promised there would be NO scar and encouraged me not to worry about scarring. She is either a liar or not capable.

Misinformation from Dr. Lisa Iishi of Johns Hopkins Plastic Surgery, quoted below. “You have 2 options.” I have a friend who had a middle option a few months later with great results and 25% of my cost! “This surgery will be harder on my than on you.” The recovery was painful and scary as swelling showed lumps, hyperpigmentation and a deformity along with severe dry eye. “You will never have to do another thing to your face.” Later, we discussed no fewer than 5 “revisions”…corrections! “You will look better in 9 days for your vacation than you do today. (Today was presurgery. I was bruised, swollen with red and oozing eyes throughout my vacation.) The doctor waited until the IV was run and I was about to be wheeled to surgery to tell me she would also be cutting under my chin that day instead of letting me know ahead of time. This contrasts greatly with a friend’s experience. Her doctor called her and asked her to come in to discuss a change in the surgery plan. She was given… time to consider and accept it. Mistakes ~ Incorrect type of eye procedure for a 68 year old with little results, but causing severe, chronic dry eye. ~ Absolutely NO results around the mouth – marionette lines and wrinkles below the mouth. The video on her website says that “the procedure should address "neckline, jowls, get rid of turkey neck and corners of mouth should go up but not be pulled. For women in 50’s/60’s more time may be needed to heal due to addressing more jowling and marionette lines.” My jowls now have asymmetrical lumps on them. ~ Hyperpigmentation on the right cheek with a grayish 5 o’clock shadow look. A large reddish-purple circular area on the left jaw and neck. ~ Puffy area in front of my right ear that the doctor said she caused as a way of “building up” my aging face – not on the left side. ~ A large raindrop shaped deformity etched into my right cheek pulled on by 2 neck muscles. The doctor did not respond to concerns about this. (Another doctor I consulted with said it was caused by stitches the doctor had made under my skin.) Why I’m writing this now: I hope to save someone from spending THOUSANDS of dollars, more than you will pay other plastic surgeons in the area. Paying more does not guarantee results!

She performed a septorhinoplasty last year. It looked terrible and a revision was needed.

Very nice doctor and very nice office experience. My septoplasty didn’t last even last a year and is now worse than before it started. I expected better and will go elsewhere to get this fixed, if I do.

I was pleased with my botox and fillers that was done by Dr. Ishii. I have had this procedure done with other doctors in the past and a nurse that works with the doctor has done the procedure. Dr. Ishii was very good in her technique and spent alot of time with me discussing the different type of fillers and looks that I wanted to achieve. She was friendly and made you feel at ease with her mannerisms. I would definately recommend her for anyone interested in turning back the clock.

Coming from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I was highly impressed with Dr. Ishii and her staff. I was blown away by my experience; I have never had that much personal time with a doctor. She was truly interested in helping me and thoroughly discussed my situation. Being a curious person, she delightfully answered all my questions. She established a level of trust I've never had before with a doctor. Her staff was equally professional and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Grateful to have such an awesome doctor who's personal and an expert all at once!

Dr. Ishii was great! She has a great personality and answered my questions thoroughly. Her staff was great and I felt very at ease. I highly recommend her as a physician and would see her again.
