Dr Amdursky is an exceptionally caring physician who has the best at heart for her patients and does her very best to help them. You could not ask for a more dedicated or compassionate person in this field where illness can be so difficult to diagnose.

Several family members and I, plus several friends we have referred have found Dr. Amdursky to be smart, exceptionally and respectful. We have had experience with others who couldn't match her. She always has time, gets to really know her patients and has changed lives. One thing: many psychiatrists have a message saying, if this is an emergency, go to an ER or call 911. She has an emergency number and we have had her talk down a child on the phone. Love her!

Dr. Amdursky is everything one would want in a psychiatrist - she spends time, gets to know you as a human being, not just a set of symptoms,and is accessible in times of high stress or emergency, in contrast to so many psychiatrists who have a message saying "if this is an emergency, call 911" - office hours access only. On several occassions she has talked us through crises with a very troubled child on the phone. And previous reviews giving a 35 minute wait make no sense. We have never waited more than 5 minutes past our scheduled time.
