I concur with the negative review...She however did have the ability to do my reversal ..but left a ventricle hernia in tact with no explanation and leaving the muscle wide open allowing my intestines to protrude with only the skin as a barrier and no muscle support what so ever.Upon my one and only follow up.She became very judgemental on the fact that she Stated "l was her worse patient ever... I replied Is it because while l was heavily sedated l pulled the tube out? No reply and when l questioned the hernia baseball size that developed from the the original surgery .The surgery that actually saved my life.... (blockage perforated bowel) so yes a colostomy was needed prior to the reversal or l would have lost my life..Then when l questioned why it was not fixed as she assured me was fixable what was l supposed to do with a hernia the size of a large baseball.She shrugged her shoulders and said a girdle.No other recommendation No solutions offered .Thrown to the wolves..OMG l was… beside myself..Just as she was removing the last stich and offered to help me up.(which l refused because of her snide remark about Worst patient ever)Lori leaned forward and told me in a soft tone voice and said "You did this to your self...As you can imagine l was livid considering perforated bowel or blockage are hereditary as 5 of the 10 women in my family have experienced the old colostomy and successful reversal. I will give her this much She waited until l came back for first follow up..To tell me worst patient ever...And l did this to myself.. I can only imagine hearing this upon my release..It would have absolutely hindered my recovery... Physically and emotionally....most patients don't fit in every check box Laurie...You absolutely were out of your league dealing with my medical situation...leaving my bowls on the outside of the stomach muscle. Maybe try to humble yourself every once in awhile and try to put yourself in The strangers...Your Patients place ... peace to you. As you know exactly who l am ...l will sign The worst patient ever.Who did this hereditary colon issues to her self ...get a grip on your humane side and l'm sure all will work out fine .So the Oath you took will truly mean something...

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Completed two visits for excruciatingly painful byproduct of hemorrhoids that have been suffering from for almost 3.5 years. I live an extremely healthy lifestyle and eat an impeccably healthy, fiber rich diet and drink at least a half gallon of water per day. Unfortunately, due to her lack of care or competency, Dr. Gordon unfortunately blamed my water and fiber intake before even learning about my every day diet. I continued to try to express how much pain I am in, but any time I communicated or answered her questions, she was so quick to interrupt me and berate me about this and even went as far as to accuse me for only being concerned about the "look of it" and my very real concern for my maintaining hygiene w/ my problem. Hygiene is only part of the problem but the more I spoke of pain, the more she raised her voice at me. I left in tears both appointments as they were extremely traumatic! Not to mention, her front desk staff didn't cover their nose w/ their… face masks as required by city and county mandate. Will never go back again. Her medical license should be revoked.

Dr Gordon has been my surgeon for colon cancer. Her staff is excellent and Dr Gordon is simply 'off the charts' regarding her skill, bedside manner and instilling confidence in her patients. I went with my husband to his colonoscopies and his doctors were competent but clearly my husband was a number and no special care or instruction given. I met with Dr. Gordon after reading online reviews and she took time to answer my questions and ask me questions to make sure I was taking care of my colon! The procedure was easy/prep is still not a walk in the park but she gave options on the potions and that helped!

I thank the lord above for guiding me to Dr. Gordon. My mothers malpractice from a hysterectomy to ending up with a ileostomy in a bad place on her stomach. Almost 3 yrs. Dr. Gordon changed her life. Had a issue afterwards but she came in while on call several times to figure out how to fix the issue. I never seen a doctor do what she did. It was a unique process that she had me learn . As of today my mother is bag , TPN and picc line free. She is a awesome doctor. I am so thankful for her. She is a hands on physician that won’t give up on any issue that may come.She has to figure it out and won’t stop until she do. Dr. Gordon made me feel comfortable right from the start. She has a sense of humor which is important for me. My wife was there with me at the appointment and Dr. Gordon made her comfortable as well. I was able to get an appointment within 7 days and surgery within 3. I had to wait a bit in the waiting room, but I guess that was because she wanted each patient to get all the time they need. She didn't sugar coat. Good quick diagnosis. AND she has small fingers, always a big plus!! The surgery was at Plaza Day Surgery and the staff there was great. Every nurse and the anesthesiologist was were/was nice. The pain after is nowhere near as bad as the pain before. I plan to use Dr. Gordon for colonoscopy when the time comes. So thank you very much, Dr. Gordon and the staff of Plaza Day Surgery.

Dr explained everything very well what had to be done. She know her job I was very comfortable with her After surgery she kept very close eye on my recovery And made sure that me and my wife are comfortable while in the hospital. She fixed my messed up surgery done by some other dr.

I would recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone requiring a colorectal surgeon. She is through, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
