Dr. Lucinda Ida Cuervo, MD

Went to see Dr. Cuervo for agonizing migraines that left me almost paralyzed. Pain in my neck was unbearable and she sent me to a mostly latin facility where no one spoke english for an X-ray. They were all busy eating pastelito and drinking cafecito. Finally got to take my X-ray which was almost 2 years ago. Still don't have my results but still have my pain and migraines. I did like her and appreciate the time she spent with me.

I went to see Dr. Cuervo after moving back from Pa. I had seen many doctors there and brought some of my paperwork (records ) which says the many health problem that I had. I told Dr. Cuervo that Pennsylvania's Doctors found a "Neoplasm " in my right kidney and that due to my son being so ill with lung cancer, I couldn't follow up with my diagnosis with the doctors. Dr Cuervo read all the medical documents that I supplied plus Pennsylvania doctors sent all the medical records. I mentioned it was very important to follow up and that I needed a referral for a specialist, a Urology. Dr. cuervo had a CT scan performed on me without contrast. ( Contrast is what you need to find masses and tumors, without contrast is for stones. Told by a doctor at Sylvester Hosp. ) and of course nothing showed but kidney stone which I do have recurring episodes. I mentioned several times that I'd like a referral and she denied it and told me that there was nothing wrong with my kidney. Ok, to make this… story short. I changed doctors and my new doctor actually as soon as I explained what my doctors in pa. Had seen, he himself referred me to an urologist for the right testing. Guess what? My tumor is growing and it is "cancer". If I would have listen and trusted this Dr. Cuervo, I probably would have gone on thinking that there was nothing wrong with me and probably that cancer would have metastasize into other parts of my body and I could have lose ant change to early treatment and lose my life. This is how people loose their life unnecessary, due to doctors laziness to do the right thing and negligence. That is how I lost my son too. They found a tumor in the lung, and doctors kept saying it was just " fungus" over and over for two years, until he was so sick and I took him to another doctor and hospital by them he was stage 4 and passed away. My baby was not smoker. So, do I recommend this doctor? NOPE! Be careful and don't trust her judgement. Seek somewhere else.

Staff is rude and argues with patients. Doctor does not review the results of your exams until two weeks after when you show up for the follow up visit. Your prescriptions take forever to get authorized. If you take important medication like I do, you have to be without pills for a week or so. Doctor is always out of the office. When she's scheduled to be in, she's either late or leaves early. Never gets to her pending matters, doesn't return phone calls, does not follow up with patients. Doctor's office closes for 2 hours at lunch time; no one is even there to answer the phone. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone I know.

Dr. Cuervo is one the best primary care physician I've had. She's courteous, spends time with her patients without rush. She's also very sweet and her staff is the best.

I have seen this doctor for several years now and she is great. She really takes the time to listen to all your concerns. I have never had any issues with her office. She has great bedside manner and her staff is always friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend her.

this doctor is very good. my entire family have been under her care for over a decade and we have only good things to say about dr. cuervo. so far is the only doctor that actually takes times and talks to you and treat us as person without hurry and time pressure for you to get out. i trust her with the health of my family without reservations.

I've been Dr Cuervo's pt for many years. She is an Ethical, caring Doctor, I trust her jugement as a Physician. No matter what my problem I always leave her office feeling better.

I went to see her as my primary doctor. I had a rash on my arms and she tried to say that it was a fungus and that I hadn't noticed it before. The rash is gone today, so clearly it was not a fungus. And she supposed to be a dermo as well. I do NOT recomend her at all. Her staff was great! That was the only positive.

They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. The restrooms at this office were spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.
