My husband and I have been going to Dr. Castro for several years now. I have had several issues during this time but kept going due to the convenience. If you are looking for a physician just for your annual check-up, this place will work. If you need to see your physician for any other reason, here are some things people should know about this office. •Ordered additional blood work, when I came in for an annual checkup, did not advise me I would be charged a co-pay and was charged before I left. •Husband came in with pain issues, where he was offered a shot that would take away the pain immediately, this would not be covered by insurance/would have to come out of pocket •Recently requested a telehealth appointment, was specific that it was for a prescription and when we receive the phone call from Dr. Castro, he suggested we go to his partner and in the meantime to pick up some items from Publix. He, of course, is billing our insurance and charging a co-pay. Every chance the… physician can get you in the office, charge you extra or add on unnecessary procedures in order to bill your insurance, he will. I have a list of complaints, but shared some important things people should be aware of.
