Dr. Luis E Vega JR., PhD

I had several sessions with Dr. Vega from 2019 to 2020. From the beginning, it was clear his priorities were not to really help me. All of my issues I tried to discuss with him were quickly glossed over and dismissed. I often felt like he did not even listen to what I said, as I found myself repeating myself often in different sessions just to remind him. He has also treated some issues dealing with racism I faced with blatant disinterest. My final session with him, I had recently faced some extreme emotional and physical trauma. Throughout the entire session, all he did was stare blankly at me while I was clearly in a lot of distress. All he said to me was "what do you want me to do about it". As a medical professional, I would expect much more than that. he saw me openly sobbing, and did not even blink an eye or show any sympathy whatsoever. He is a lazy, unprofessional individual without any real care for her patients. Avoid his practice at all costs.
