Dr. Madhav Harihar Bhat, MD

Terrible doctor. No bedside manner. He told me I was faking my Epilepsy even though the E.E.G. Showed seizure activity. I have had epilepsy since age 5. It hurt my feelings.

Dr Bhat did a consult for my husband and was so very kind in testing him and giving us his opinion. He sent us to IU ALS Clinic and they agreed on the ALS diagnosis.

As a patient of Dr Baht, I only see the Nurse at my visits. I have rapidly progressing Neuropathy which while progressing is taken very lightly by their office while I am losing control of bodily functions now. I feel like I am being “brushed off” and being told to you just live with it! I am only 58 years old!

Took time to review my medical and surgical history. Listened well. Agreed with diagnosis. Medication and suggestions helping. Will continue to be followed by this physician.

The neurological exam seemed thorough and Dr Bhat took his time. Sinemet prescribed. As directed called back in 3 weeks. Nurse not available. She called back 2 or 3 days later. Told her medicine wasn't working to relieve tremors. Said she would tell Dr. Bhat and call back. She has not called back. This is 3 weeks later. I have been told by a medical personnel that this is not a good doctor. Time for another doctor.

We will be changing from this Nero center No one should have to be on hold for 25 min. the first time and then 15 min. the next just to cancel an appointment , get real.

Only had husband touch fingers. Only prescribes drugs on top of drugs. Excuses everything as most epilepsy is unknown cause. No help. Did not want to help. Only wants to drug patients and collect money.
