Both my husband and I have seen Dr. Gorla for a good number of years and believe we are exceptionally fortunate to have his care. For years he has been our opthalmologist, though with his senior partner's recent retirement, he increasingly focuses on glaucoma treatment and surgeries and so for our next annual, we see his colleague Dr. Holly Weis, which knowing her as well, we do without hesitation. Dr. Gorla invariably prepares for our appointment by reviewing our patient records well in advance. When something in our visual care implicates a potentially broader issue, he advises the appropriate next steps and suggests how to appropriately advocate for thorough professional follow up. We choose to see an opthalmogist annually for vision care because we know only an opthalmalogist has medical training, which is CRUCIAL to the timely preservation of vision and as implicated, one's greater health. Dr. Gorla is that special, passionate, fastidious and concerned opthalmologist and… practitioner.

Best treatment ever. I had an acute health emergency while out of state. Among other issues, there were hemorrhages behind each eyeball and a retina was partially torn. It felt like my eyeballs were about to explode. My vision was highly constricted and very sensitive to light. Dr. Gorla responded immediately when contacted by my wife for advice and assistance. Over the course of several days including a weekend, he was in direct contact with both my wife and the out of state hospital doctors to manage my case. Thanks to his immediate attention and diligence, we were all able to manage to a successful outcome. Now, after four months, my vision is back to 20/20, I'm fully active and even able to drive at night. Thank you, Dr. Gorla.

I find Dr Gorla to be an excellent ophthalmologist & Surgeon. He is very patient, thorough in his exams, & explaining all options available. He was my surgeon for removing cataracts, and implanting a Toric lens for my stigmatism. The surgery was painless & I had a quick recovery! I highly recommend Dr Gorla.

Dr. Gorla (Chicago Glaucoma Consultants) has performed laser and cataract surgery on both my eyes. He is both professional and personable. Since I had never had any of these surgeries before he explained everything. The office staff was also very professional (Patriot Blvd.). I highly recommend them.

I am going to Dr. Gorla for over 15 years for glaucoma and cataract care. He did 3 surgery for me with excellent results. He is a very intelligent, extremely skilled Doctor and Surgeon as well as a very caring person. He is always taking time to explain all problems and answer questions.
