The FIRST thing I want you to know, is, I am 60 - plus years old ; I have been going to Opthalmologists since I was age 4. Let me tell you that I had implants done, due to cataracts. I suddenly had left capsule become cloudy - then foggy --- then, inside of two months, I was blind, totally, in my left eye, Dr. Ankelasaria saw me right away, and told me he would LASER that totally white capsule, but it would be a challenge. That worried me..... but then he said to me with a huge smile : " But we like a good challenge, don't we ? " Then, he patted on the shoulder, and he blasted a hole right through that capsule. You've never met a man with a more grateful heart than me. These people that talk about this Doctor having an attitude ----- … I really have no idea what they're talking about. This is a man who gets up in the morning, and LOVES his patients. No one is perfect. That is true. But, this doctor is close to it. FIVE STARS. No two ways about it. FIVE STARS. The staff at the office is rude. The receptionist is condescending and abrasive. This is not surprising, because when you meet the doctor he is equally as rude. He treats his employees with disrespect right in front of patients. Also, don't try to ask him any questions because he will cut you off and make you feel like a child. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would never come back to this doctor and i think the man needs a reality check. Dr. Anklesaria - you are not a neurosurgeon or cardiologist. You are an eye doctor in Oklahoma. Get over yourself.

Always professional, always takes time to answer every question I have and is extremely thorough. I had my tear ducts lasered by Dr. A and have never had a single problem with that. The procedure was pretty painless and he was extremely good at it! If you're looking for a fantasitc opthalmologist, I highly recommend that you see Dr. A!!

This doctor reminds me of "everybody's Dad". He is very nice, and put up with the countless questions I had, without seeming put out by them. I felt like I was in good hands. The only negative was really my fault. I should have asked for the cheapest prescription available. I had no idea eye drops and salve could cost as much as they did. The price I paid was three times what I thought it would be, and that was after insurance. So, lesson learned...If your budget is an issue, make sure to tell your doctor.
