Dr. Karin is so kind and genuinely cares for you as her patient. I am a Registered Nurse, who became a patient and Dr. Karin made me feel at ease. I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer in March of 2022 in my early 40’s. I was referred to Dr. Karin by my PCP and also the radiologist who found my breast cancer. She came highly recommended. Dr. Karin made sure to answer any questions I had and explained the options and procedures thoroughly. Surgery is one of the toughest parts when going through breast cancer. Having to decide which option is best can be overwhelming. My surgery went very well with no hiccups and my recovery was smooth as well. From the first appointment, to follow ups, to new scares, she has walked me through each of my appointments with gentleness. With her knowledge of breast cancer and surgery options I felt informed. I would recommend her to anyone I know and will see her again if need be.

In 2008, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer/Stage 3. Shocked and frightened, one of my earliest appointments was with Dr. Mardi Karin (surgeon). Dr. Karin listened to my questions, provided clarity and compassion, and performed the necessary surgeries with successful outcomes - all the while teaming with my oncologist each step of the way. Twelve years later, there continues to be no evidence of disease and I remain truly grateful.

Dr. Karin is exceptional! She is smart, caring and gives you the facts and let’s you make your decisions. I was very happy with breast surgery she performed for me. Highly recommend for any type of breast surgery especially around breast conservation!

Dr Karin is very professional and an excellant surgeon! I would highly recommend her and would definately use her again if needed! She takes the time to listen to her patients and actually and sincerely cares! I felt very confident with her as my surgeon! Dr. Karin is smart, compassionate and highly skilled. I'm 8 weeks out from a bilateral mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis, and my recovery has been smooth and generally easy. Dr. Karin explained all my options upfront and supported me throughout. She recommended anesthesia options which made post-surgery recovery as comfortable as possible. She will continue to follow me for the next several years. I've started taking tamoxifen to prevent recurrence, and that's been smooth too, with the only side effect being that my period has stopped (I'll take that!).

I had a great experience with Dr. Karin and her staff. All my appointments were handled very well. Dr. Karin gave me the right diagnoses, treatment plan and post-treatment plan. I knew what to expect and she explained everything really well. From my experience I think she is a great surgeon. She repaired my hernia "traditional way", (not laparoscopic) and I was able to go back to work after 6 days! On top of that she has a great personality. She is professional, very knowledgeable and personal. I will recommend her to anybody!
