I am currently 5 months pregnant I have been scheduled for several different appointments to meet with Dr. Manuel. Unfortunately the assistant has given me 1 excuse after the other about how the Dr. is not going to make it to my appointment. The first appointment I don't think the office staff was aware that I could hear their conversation with Dr. Manuel in the office as I was waiting for my appointment for 30-40 min. It was Her Birthday. I assumed that I would still be seeing her or at least meeting her. But when I was taken back the assistant said she had to leave for emergency surgery...which could have been true but the situation seemed suspicious. Then my next appointment I waited another 40 min...and no Dr. she was not in. And then my next appointment she had the flu? I don't feel comfortable at this point in my pregnancy not having met my dr. yet, or just a phone call from her staff to reschedule me for when she can make it to see me. its scary to think if something was to… happen in my pregnancy to depend on someone who doesn't show up. I think I will transfer to another Dr. . However the mid wives that took care of my visits were very lovely and helpful. But if I have a complicated L&D ...who will see me then? Joe Blow?...smh

Dr Manuel was wonderful. I waited no more that 5 minutes to go back & 5 minutes in the exam room. She is very trustworthy and listened to all of my questions and answered me.

Excellent physician. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Professional, courteous and thorough.
