Dr. Maria Mahat Braun, MD

Dr. Braun is a highly intelligent, resourceful and empathetic ophthalmologist. I’ve been seeing her for a few years and she’s drastically improved my eye conditions without complicating my life with extraneous medications and processes. She listens, offers options and advice and I would strongly recommend her to anyone in need of a new eye doctor!

I may never have complete sight out of my eye again. I sought Dr. Braun's care as a second opinion for treatment of dry eyes. I was perfectly able to see, but my eyes have been dry even with the use of over the counter artificial tears. Dr. Braun's staff medical technician performed a pressure check and injured my eye. He wasn't even concerned enough to apologize. I was left in the reception area unable to see out of my left eye and unable to drive home from an appointment I had driven to with no problems. Dr. Braun applied a contact lens bandage that was too tight, I was able to get home but my eye started watering profusely, so I sought treatment from another provider to remove the bandage which was applied to tight. My eye developed pain and sensitivity (Uveitis) as a result, and I am unable to see clearly out of my eye. Stay away from this practice at all costs -- I do not understand how I could have lost my vision during a routine eye examination.
