Dr. Maria Luz Webster-Longin

For over a year I kept calling and coming back with the same symptoms, and asking for internal imaging to be done as blood tests kept showing nothing as being wrong. She ignored my requests, ignored me when I pointed out that I didn't meet the diagnostic criteria for the diagnosis she decided to stick with (after the first incorrect diagnosis, which was sadly, the fourth incorrect diagnosis from the Kaiser doctors overall). She didn't respond to emails promptly, or sometimes even at all. It took multiple ER trips to get the diagnostic imaging that I'd been requesting for over a year and lo and behold, they found the problem.

Dr. Webster ignored my questions regarding the test she wanted to order. I asked her in office and again via email. She simply would not respond. Ultimately she ceased communication. I suspect that the alternative tests that are available are more costly and safer. It is clear to me her policy is Kaiser's way or the highway. She is in the wrong business. Her methods are found by me to be rather common amongst Kaiser Oakland doctors. They are watching out for the reputation/profitability of kaiser over patients interests/concerns. I remain with symptoms that have gone undiagnosed for 4 month now. Her number one patient is Kaiser.

Tried to contact her so many times, she never got back to me. A doctor that is hard to locate, should be the first warning sign of what kind of doctor she is going to be..... BAD

This doctor has extremely poor communication when dealing with elderly patients. She discontinued several medications with an explanation. I then had a lab test done per her request and when my lab numbers were low, she simply said to pick up the smedication from the pharmacy and resume taking it again. Is this the NEW PRIMARY CARE. Patients are people and not just MEDICAL RECORD NUMBERS and INSURANCE CLAIMS TO GET PAID!
