Let me start out by saying she was a very warm and caring/aware doctor who obviously knew what she was talking about. I came in to confirm a diagnosis of Lupus due to some test results and had convinced myself I had it due to a wide variety of symptoms I was experiencing. She did NOT confirm the diagnosis and in fact told me that I definitely don't have it, and perhaps not other autoimmune disorders (i assume she would have mentioned if the results indicated that) . After this was determined, which was great news, there was little advice on how to move forward, or rather I had to ask. I AM experiencing some vague and not great symptoms. She said the classic cut down on vaping and prioritizing rest, which is very valid, but im just not super sure on what to do next! But she was great, seemed emotionally Intelligent (HUGE plus) and I'm in the mood to give feedback so I think a more clear exit strategy would have been appreciated.

Dr. Mariko Ishimori has been the best rheumatologist that I've ever worked WITH. When I started my journey with her many years ago, I was covered in bleeding plaque psoriasis having to wear unaboot wrappings on my legs and feet and unable to wear shoes the same for my hands and arms, ears, basicacally bodywide I had thick cracks that were constantly bleeding and to top it off a case of foot and mouth. In short, I had to take a leave of absence from work and the rheumatologists in my town had given up as I'd failed multiple treatments. Dr. Ishimori took one look at me and made it her mission to give me my life back. She has done just that and when the first med didn't have the desired results she immediately pivoted and found one that has kept me lesion free as well as keeping my PsA managed for many years. I've been able to return to work as well as lose 60 pounds. She's been there to celebrate all of my milestones with me. Truly my guiding light!!!

Simply stated, Dr. Ishimori is the best in the west. She is truly the most knowledgable, smartest and professional of doctors in her field. Others could learn to excel in the medical field by following her example.

Dr. Mariko Ishimori is a godsend in my journey to finding solutions for my medical issues as well as remaining on top of monitoring my liver,kidney,heart functions. In fact she picks up the slack that my cardiologist and main doctor may not have thought about, followed up on, or tested for. She as well as her office have changed my life from being bedridden to actually picking up activities that I used to enjoy once again. I recommend her to anyone that I encounter that could use her services.

Dr. Ishimori is extremely knowledgeable in her field, has excellent bedside manners, is very professional and listens to all your issues. Dr. Ishimori never rushes you. I always leave with all my medical questions and concerns having been taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Ishimori.
