Dr. Marilyn Lorett Marcus, DO

The office manager of this location is beyond unprofessional, I was calling about labs ordered to prove a listeria case she screamed at me and had the staff stop answering my calls, all she had to do is review the labs ordered by the doctor, worst experience ever, because of her unprofessionalism I was not able to take the test I needed to prove my case. How they put someone like that to assist their clients is baffling to me and should have filed a lawsuit for damages.

This is the worst place, withholding receipts, arguing with me their patient, very unethical place to go for your medical needs. Deserve zero stars! Their staff will not answer calls or leave you on hold, never going here again. They give me a wrong invoice showing a balance when they didn't have change for $5 and give me an invoice showing wrong balance they tell you don't worry and say you owe them, total disaster.

Moved away 19 years ago. Dr. Marcus is the best diagnostician who has ever treated me! I miss being under her care. I’ve had 4 different doctors here, and they treat me superficially, don’t remember my ailments, and don’t show any concern. Wish I could take a train to see her.

You sometimes have to wait, as Dr Marcus won't rush her care, but when you see her, she doesn't rush you, either.

Courteous, friendly staff! Easy to get an appointment! Never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes of appointment! Dr. Marcus calls personally with results of all lab and/or test results. She gives advice about maintaining a healthy life styles (diet and exercise). Explains medical condition and vocabulary from my specialists in layman's terms. I have been a patient of Dr. Marcus over 8 years.

Wonderful doctor, wonderful staff. Competent, compassionate, just head and shoulders above the rest. She has literally saved the lives of 3 of my family members and she has kept me in good health for over 35 years. I wish there were a hundred more exactly like her.

We never knew a doctor could be so caring. I have gone to her for years and she is always right on with her diagnosis. Her staff reflects her. They have been with her for many years. Dr. Marcus cares for me and my family. She truly listens even when it is not pertinent to my medical problem. My husband,son,and daughter in law also go to her and highly respect her opinion. I would recommend her to anyone. She is one of a kind.

One could wait a long time in her office and I don't think people would mind. They will be getting the best of care, attention, when they go in. Dr. Marcus NEVER rushes one and tells us we can spend as much time as we think necessary. Being a dr., she says involves ALL arenas of one's psyche...When one has a cold it affects not only the systemic areas , but ones, feelings, etc...She knows it all...Even when one goes for a lab appointment, Dr. Marcus pops in to ask if everything is alright. She should be the model for which all other drs. strive. There is no other dr. like her..!!!!!

For as long as I have been seeing Dr. Marcus she has taken good care of me. I trust her judgment. She not only talks to you but asks you important questions and really listens to your answers. She isn't pushy but does stress the importance of your health. I started seeing her when I was 17 or a bit earlier and am 55 years old now. I value her over any other doctor I have ever seen. The office staff is friendly and professional, helping me with my paperwork and appointments. The nurse and assistants are also very knowledgeable and helpful. I strongly recommend Dr.Marcus and her staff.
