Dr.Cook is an excellent Physician. Who listens and is empathetic understanding and truly cares about his patients well being. He remembers "Do no harm" of his Hippocratic Oath!

Dr Cool has been our family physician for over 15 yrs and is like family. I won't change Dr's. He listens and really cares. He has helped us they some scary times. Love him.

Dr. Cook has been my doctor for over twenty years. He is thorough and compassionate. I know that he puts his patients first, and is an excellent diagnostician. Reading the other reviews makes me sick; a man who has had three kidney transplants yet continues to practice and heal others is the kind of doctor that I want in my corner! He understands illness because he has lived it, yet continues to provide service to others. Regarding being "forced" to pay a co-payment, what planet does that patient live on?

While doctor cook is no way a bad doctor or person, it is his office staff that would make it impossible for me to recommend anyone to his practice. We have had numerous problems with his staff failing to call in prescriptions, hanging up on us., yelling and being completely rude and unprofessional.

My appointment time was scheduled at 2:15 pm, they told me to arrive early to fill out paperwork. I got there about 2 pm and was completely ignored by the receptionist, she finally acknowledged me without even looking at me. I sat in the waiting room from 2:05 until 2:50! Once I was finally taken back into the room, the nurse went through her routine (she was the only decent one working there) and the again had me wait. I wait in the exam room until 3:35 before I finally found a nurse and asked how much longer. She went and got the doctor right away and brought him in, he was nice and all but seems to be way over due for retirement! I told him what had been going on and he proceeded to ask me the same questions another 2 times! He was very aloof and even told me he didn't know what to tell me! You're the doctor! I came here for your advice and you have nothing to tell me! He wrote me a quick prescription and said I could go, didn't listen to my heart or anything! Worst experience all… around I've ever had! Will never return there ever!!!

I agree with others regarding the receptionist, but I am not going to give a doctor a rating based on a receptionist's manners or the lack thereof. A receptionist can be replaced and are dime a dozen. Great doctors are hard to find and cannot be replaced. I started seeing Dr. Cook a few months ago and have had many follow-up visits since. All experiences with Dr. Cook and the nurse have been 100% positive. Dr. Cook is very thorough and takes his time. I have never sensed his urgency to leave the room for the next patient. Many years of experience and a great doctor so smile at the nurse on your way back and be healed!
