Dr. Mark S Dorfman, MD

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor and his staff. Unfortunately, I don’t believe they are well-suited to care for children, as they showed little compassion or understanding in our situation. Our appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM, and we arrived at 2:48 PM. Due to traffic and accidentally entering the wrong address, we ended up being 17 minutes late. While I understand the importance of punctuality, the office also counts the time it takes to fill out the required forms on their screen, which adds a few extra minutes. Despite this, my daughter was experiencing severe eye pain and came in as an emergency case. Shockingly, the doctor refused to see her. This lack of empathy and flexibility was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the urgency of her condition. I would not recommend this practice based on our experience.

Dr Dorfman is a highly trained pediatric ophthalmologist.The care he provides for his patients is outstanding.

Dr Dorfman seems quick despite that he appears to do a thorough diagnosis. given that he is only on Tuesdays in his Hollywood office, the crowd is larger, however still handled relatively well. will keep going to him with all children.

Dr. Dorfman is a doctor for money, not for the care of his patients. His greed over a bill I was unaware that I even had stopped him from seeing my daughter. Even though he had her on eye drops where the eyes need to be monitored. When I told him I could have the bill cleared up by the beginning of the next week, he still refused and we drove thirty minutes to see him for no reason. Don't see this doctor. Keep looking for one that cares!
