Dr. Mark Ian Golden, MD

I always enjoy my annual eye exam and check up. Dr. Mark always has something new to share, whether cosmetic or for the eyes. This time it was Envision glasses for the colorblind to see color which my colorblind cousin would love. I believe they are the only office locally that distributes these. My eyesight is still better than 20/20 eight years after PRK laser surgery. One of the best decisions I’ve made! I highly recommend this office.

The staff has been very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Dr. Golden has been amazing, he has vast experience, and has answered all my questions. I am among the small group that needed a correction, but everything went smoothly and now my vision is amazing. So happy with my decision to do laser correction and happy I chose Dr. Golden.

Horrible doctor. I would recommend going elsewear. Office is unsanitary and so is he. I bought a coupon off groupon to get my lasik eye surgery done with this doctor. Upon my arrival I was shocked by his demeanor as I had read some great things. He was very short with me and even seemed tempermental. I began to question my decision and became nervous about someone in his mood operating on my eyes! His tech gave me valium and told me to "rest." 20 minutes later the doctor started yelling at me for not sleeping. I told the tech that the Valium wasn't kicking in. The doctor proceeded to tell me that I was not taking this surgery seriously and that he "wasn't making any money off of me" because I was using a coupon. I walked out and will find another doctor. I am an educated career woman and have never been so disrespected in my life. He is clearly in it for the money and not for the results in the patient.

I was interested in Lasik and Dr. Golden spent a lot of time with me. He used the latest technology for my examination and then showed me the results of all of my tests and explained why I was a perfect candidate for Lasik. When I decided to have it done, he was very patient with me as I was very nervous. He gave me a teddy bear to hold and talked to me through the whole procedure. I couldn't believe when I was all finished and I could see better than I had without glasses since I was a little girl. The care after surgery was just as good and he carefully answered all of my questions and was available immediately when I called him with a question.
