This office used to be really great!

Dr. Mark Gross has kept me vertical. My issues started back in the mid 80s. Found Dr. Gross when he fixed my hubby's back issues in the 1990. That surgery has held up exceptionally well almost 30 yrs later. In 1991 I began my journey thru multiple issues (carpal tunnel, 2 major shoulder and elbow repairs, 2 hip and 2 knee replacements, foot and ankle work, plus back surgery. I trust him implicitly. He is down to earth, extremely accurate in all diagnosis, explains in language we can all understand and a wonderful bedside manner. Never cuts a visit short. And he has a very droll, wicked sense of humor. Love this guy !!

I broke my femur and had surgery the next day by Dr. Gross. The results of the surgery were excellent! He is very personable as well as an outstanding surgeon. I am grateful he did my surgery!

Had surgery to do fusion in neck with excellent results. Had much pain and discomfort before surgery with a burning pain that radiated down my right arm.

I love Dr. Gross..He guided me through a terrible time in my life with a sciatic injury, car accident, general rehabilatation. His bedside manner is wonderful and his diagnosis spectacularly correct..I highly recommend him..

Dr. Mark Gross is the BEST of the BEST in his field of Orthopedic medicine & surgery. He is a highly skilled & confident surgeon who always makes it a point to really know & understand his patient well. As a Doctor, he is very personable, kind & compassionate & has a charming sense of humor. Dr. Gross will always exhaust every feasible option for his patient before resorting to surgery, & thus keeping the patient's best interests at heart. I recently had my left knee replaced by Dr. Gross; everything he projected, promised (with great knowledge & confidence) to me came true for me throughout my rehab/recovery. I was labeled a "poster patient for knee replacement" due to the success of my surgery & my capabilities afterward in physical therapy. Upon meeting the Physical Therapist for the first time (3 weeks after surgery, outside my house) & being instructed into one of the exam rooms at Athletico, I was asked by the therapist which leg did I have my knee replaced on because she… could not tell from the way I was walking in front of her. This is definitely an outstanding tribute to Dr. Gross. I have all the confidence and faith in him as my orthopedic healthcare provider. His credentials, skill level & large patient base speak volumes for this incredible Doctor. And best of all, Dr. Gross' practice is located in Barrington, IL so there is no hassle of fighting traffic, parking, etc. in congested downtown Chicago. He is the best and is very proficient in all current & cutting edge areas in his orthopedic field. One aspect I truly admire about Dr. Gross is his conviction in a diagnosis & then suggesting the patient seek a second opinion should they desire such.

3 weeks and still waiting for a follow up call that he said would take place. He really made me feel less than, maybe my injury wasn't a life threatening injury, but some compassion and empathy would have been nice. Switching doctors.
