Dr. Hartman performed 2 surgeries on me. I must say there were times I was not the exemplary patient. Through it all, including the follow ups he was kind and compassionate . He truly cares for his patients.

Dr. Hartman is a caring compassionate physician. He tries to resolve the issues with conservative treatments before jumping right to surgery. His staff is kind, knowledgeable and responsive to calls and questions before and after each office visit and surgery. He takes time to discuss options and makes sure you are informed and explains his recommendations in easy to understand terms. He is a excellent surgeon and more than that he is a good man.

Dr. Hartman grew more and more defensive when asked questions intended to clarify his diagnosis and treatment plan. Not only was he verbally defensive but he actually physically shrank back when asked a question. Hartman doesn't understand the difference between asking a doctor questions and questioning a doctor's judgement.

I was very transparent upon my initial visit with Dr. Hartman and told him I was on buprenorphine. He told me I had nothing to worry about; that he deals with this all of the time. Then today, 2 and a half months into the process, he tells me he’s not going to operate on me. This would’ve been fine had he told me is upfront but, but he assured me during our first consult that I had no reason worry because he handled things like this dozens of times. He then openly admitted that his sister is currently struggling with addiction issues. It then became obvious that this had less to do with me, and more about his sister. Don’t waste your time on Dr. Hart-less.

Great Doctor, understanding, compassionate, and honest. I have come back to him multiple times for chronic issues. I would highly recommend him and the clinic.
