Dr. Mark Henry Dy Alon, MD

Dr. Alon is a great doctor that treated me at White Plains Hospital. I am very impressed with his medical knowledge. He made time every rounds explaining to me my illness, the treatment I am getting, the red flags we have to keep an eye out. He was not in a rush and even draw on the white board. He is an excellent teacher as I was able to understand what’s happening to me and the reason why our care plan is made the way it is. He has a calming demeanor and I feel safe that I am in the great hands of a doctor that cares. My family is very impressed of his bedside manners as well.

He is an incredible doctor! I felt that I am in good hands while he is caring for me in the hospital. I highly recommend him. He is usually at Sinai Roosevelt all the time so look for him and ask the staff around if he is there and he will move heaven and earth to help you or your family member! He cares a lot!

Dr. Alon goes above and beyond with his care. I have a positive experience at the hospital and the communication is top-notch. He is easily accessible, open to questions and was able to explain it to me in a manner that I can understand fully. He epitomizes a doctor that loves what he do and that shows with his bedside manners. I rarely write reviews but he is exceptional and this is the only thing I can repay what he has done for me. Dr. Alon has impeccable bedside manners. He guided me although out my hospitalization and was very kind. He even called several days after getting discharged. That is the first time someone did that to me.

I returned to Mount Sinai after my previous doctor when I got admitted forgot to prescribe me some medications I usually take. My PCP appointment is too far off and I cannot get a hold of anyone in the clinic so I went to the emergency and was complaining to Patient Relations. Dr. Alon happened to pass by and assisted me with my much needed Insulins and blood pressure medications and sent it to my pharmacy. I could not be more thankful!

One of the few doctors I met that sits down and explain everything he is managing medically. I believe he spent more than 30 minutes with me addressing my questions and I was able to understand what is happening to me and what to do next. I look for him whenever I come to the hospital.

Dr. Alon treated me for CHF when I went into exacerbation and I could not be more thankful for his expertise. He even made the time to call me after I went home.

Avoid this doctor. Ask for another another provider if he is assign to you in the hospital. Very deceiving. Might hurt instead of helping. Very upset person like that got a medical license
