Dr. Mark Andrew Lyerly, MD

I seen him for pain in my legs and feet he ensured me if i have spinal infusion that i would feel alot better well its been three years and im living in severe pain all the time im on pain meds and a pain patch with little relief the only thing that helps is lying down but i dont want to live my life in the bed.i never had back pain until after the surgery.i feel that this Dr has ruined my life.you should get at least two other opinion after seeing him.

3 back surgeries and a nerve decompression surgery over an 18 month period and am no better. Did everything I was asked to do for recovery, but condition never got better. Not sure where the blame should fall. Am I unfixable or was something not done or done wrong with all procedures. Wouldnt recommend .

He did both of my back surgeries (1yr apart) and everything went smoothly both times. He has an amazing bedside manner and his confidence and calm demeanor completely put me at ease. It’s been 7 years since my last surgery and I still recommend him to everyone I know!! Another disk is out and if I ever get insurance (‘Merica ??) I will limp right back to him. ??

Dr. Mark Lyerly did cervical and lumbar spine on me. Also, lumbar spine surgery on my husband. I suffered for "years" with my neck and back. I think these issues were from a 4 car collision years before. Dr. Lyerly is the "only" doctor who truly listened to me and understood my desperate plea to rid my body of all this pain. The problem in my back was difficult to find but he pursued and determined my problem. As for my cervical problem, which I endured for years, he found the problem and did not know how I lived with it all those years. Other doctors would not "listen!" Dr. Lyerly is a very caring and compassionate surgeon. He has a wonderful bedside manner as well. I would recommend him to all my family and friends in the event a neurosurgeon was ever required. He is "the best" in his field!! The Slate Family

Dr. Lyerly operated on me, my husband and my brother. He is very professional yet very easy to talk to and explains everything he plans to do. He is a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Lyerly performed a laminectomy on me last year. The expectations he set up were not achieved. A three day recovery turned into three months. His post op follow up involved lots of meds and PT. Would not recommend. Still have back pain...

Dr. Lyerly is a competent, compassionate doctor. He explains things very well & has great bedside manner.

The Dr. Was so nice & explained everything , took his time with me.They had me in the back in less than 5 minutes.

My experience with Dr.Lyerly was with my wife. All I can say Is An Excellent doctor,and a great Human Being'.

Some staff members are always ill like they don't have time for except melisant.
