Dr. Mark Itsuo Morishige

Dr. Morishige was pleasant, empathetic, and informative when I saw him for a consultation about a knee injury. However, his office policies are the worst. He overcharges for office visits (5x more than other very reputable orthos), so be very careful to ask about costs and insurance coverage before your first visit. Also, even though I asked multiple times for copies of my x-rays (it's been three months), the office staff still has not been able to provide me with a copy. I would not recommend this surgeon unless you have lots of time and money to spare.

Dr. Morishige performed a surgery on my brother’s shoulder. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Morishige is wonderful: highly professional, empathetic, very competent and knowledgeable. He definitely improved the quality of my brother’s life. The recovery was quick and not painful. We were able to get answers quickly and couldn't be more pleased. Many thanks for a great job!

The doctor resigned after my surgery and did not provide the required surgical notes which made it very difficult in my recovery. A year later, I'm still on crutches since he did too much in my knee. My quality of life is totally changed and I can't do the normal every day things I should be able to do. Avoid him at all costs.

I experienced a very warm professional dr. who explained and included me in on the decisions that had to be made. We are lucky to have such a qualified doctor in Key West. The young woman who answers the phone in the office will try to make you make an appointment with the other older dr or his P.A. BUT INSIST ON DR MORISHIGE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
