Dr Scarborough successfully removed a chondrosarcoma from my fathers shoulder and saved his arm. My father is still going strong 28 years later. Of course when my orthopedist referred me for a consult with a orthopedic oncologist I went directly to Dr Scarborough. I received the same outstanding care an concern that my father received. His credentials among orthopedist around the world are well documented but his personal care makes him even more special. Thank you

I have a disorder that requires monitoring in case it becomes cancer. He is one of the only orthopedic oncologists and he is great.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Scarborough and his team. First off, his nurse Brandi Nunn, she is awesome. My very first appointment there, she became my advocate and has been ever since. I had osteosarcoma in my leg for years and every doctor that I had seen (all around Florida, might I add) all told me that is was benign and would go away on its own. Scarborough’s team did a deep biopsy, even had my results sent to another state for a second opinion just in case. I had my hip, femur and knee replaced within a month, and although I’m still recovering 4 years later (it was a huge surgery), I have a functioning leg. He listens, he cares, he’s just an overall awesome doctor and anyone who has him knows it.

I was referred to Dr. Scarborough after having surgery to remove a malignant tumor in my arm. The initial diagnosis was upgraded to a more complex tumor and it was found that my surgery did not include the wide margins needed for the MFH tumor. Upon sending my medical records to Dr. Scarborough he reviewed them and personally called me to come in immediately at it was life-threatening for me to wait another day. Within a week he performed a re-section and kept my arm fully functional. He saved my life. I'm happy to say this was 18 yrs. ago and I am completely cancer free. Thank you Dr. Scarborough, I now am able to enjoy life with my grandchildren!!

Ive seen my share of Dr.s. but ive never seen nor experienced this level of care and professionalism. I mean my wait time was nothing to the hours ive spent waiting elsewhere. the staff all of whom i met on an individual basis and each one was just as competent, courteous, and informative as the one before. if not more. the Dr. that works with him(pardon my unforgivable lapse in Her name) was adept at putting you at ease whilst getting you all the knowledge one could hope for. After All these other attributes theirs Dr. Scarborough himself. taking the time to meet you himself although his entire staff has done an excelent job. his ease and depth of knowledge and confidence leaves you feeling promise for the first time since you were told there might be problems heading your way. And what more can you ask than this. i felt like i wasn't another number or file. they knew me after that visit. And even more importantly..I knew them. And with them on my side. I was ready. because you know… they are.

Dr ScarScarborough has been my Dr. to many years. The care he has given me is absolutely the best care a person could receive. I was a very lucky person, because I was blessed to have Dr Enniking as my Doctor and Surgeon before Dr Scarborough. When DrEnniking retired he placed me in the care of Dr. Scarborough. I am so blessed to have had such great Doctors taking care of me. I don't believe I would have lived had it not been for these two great Physicians. I know I would not have my leg today if not for them. Every where I went, I got the same words quoted to me. "We will have to amputate". But that is not what I was told by these two wonderful caring Doctors. They told me they would do everything possible to try an save my leg. I had Condro Sarcoma. This was in 1983, and today I still have my leg. I'll always Love and miss Dr Enniking, But I'm so greatful to have Dr Scarborough at Shands looking after me. Thank you so much Dr Scaborough, for all of the best care possible, you have… given me.

Dr. Scarborough is a wonderful doctor; He is the epitome of goodness!! He saved my life 12 years ago; I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and Leiomyosarcoma of the left upper arm and shoulder. Dr. Scarborough performed a bone replacement with a titanium rod. He has been the key player with my treatment over the last 12 years following-up with the UF Shands physicians on my team.

Dr Scarborough saved my son's life and his leg when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He is not only professional but also kind and caring. He has my highest regard.
