Dr. Marvin Flicker, MD

Made her come in everyday, but I guess that is ok if you are a trust fund baby.

I can not imagine a more caring, supportive or professional psychiatrist than Dr. Flicker. He is insightful and empathic and helped me to develop much needed coping skills. He helped me to better understand how my angry mood and affect impacted me and those I care about and I am now doing much better both socially, with my family and professionally. Dr. Flicker is truly the best psychiatrist out there. His years of experience and caring approach put him leagues ahead of his colleagues.

Astonishingly arrogant and bordering on bizarre-has twirled up waxed cartoonish mustache and is not being an ironic hipster (probably in his 70's)- he actually takes himself this seriously. Overly concerned with pushing you to not miss appointments and it feels like this is done more so he can collect his exorbitant fees than out of a sense of care. First concerns are about how/ when he is going to be paid. Not even that great with meds- seek help elsewhere.

He is self-absorbed and a relic of the past where an all-knowing attitude substitutes for actual help. High-priced and self-impressed, he's the last place to go for help.

Extremely compassionate and caring. Has helped me cope effectively with difficult life situations and to gain confidence in myself.
