Dr. Mary Ailis Aiken, DO

She was unbelievably rude and accusatory. Ignored what I was saying and talked over me. Was very quick to prescribe me unnecessary pills that made me sick. My health problem ended up not being what she said it was. I would never go to her again.

Temperamental and lacks interpersonal skills. The staff treatment is poor and demeaning. Interpretation of actual situation lacks truth to fit in their favor.

I was scorned by a assisting nurse while checking my vitals ( I'm still confused about the issue). I asked her to leave the door open if she wanted to talk to me in this tone. I never had my blood pressure taken. She left and retrieved her Office Manager. He enters my waiting room and states,"I'm backing her". I'm still unclear what the issue is. Later, the Doctor enters and I attempted to explain what happened. "I work on Medical issues but I back her". An honest appraisal was never discussed. She later asked, "Do you want another Doctor?" She was aware of my recent divorce, moving into a new home, during the care (dementia) and death of my mother (at home Hospice). I was shocked! All patients should be first priority and provided with dignity, safety, and welfare. Clearly, I left feeling no compassion, overwhelmed, distressed and confused. I was given a referral to see a Cardiologist.

This doctor will spend no time with you, dismiss your issues, and check out nothing. Her bedside manner is unexpectedly rude.

I have only seen her for a first visit. She was wonderful. Her Assistant was much less helpful.

This doctor, and Colonial Medicine Associates in general, is absolutely horrible. It took her 4 months to try to fill a prescription. She kept telling me that it was the pharmacy's problem, but she was a complete liar. I called my script insurance and they said the doctor never once called them to authorize the prescription. She and her staff of complete morons lied about this for four months and in the meantime I am in and out of the hospital trying to deal with the problems the lack of prescription provided. I went to the office to confront them and ask them why they are all so incompetent and they were all too dumbfounded to respond. What a complete disaster of a doctor and staff. Everyone had horrible bedside manner and were just all around clueless about how to do their jobs! If I could give them zeros I would!
