Dr. Mary Ann Martinez, MD

Dr Martinez and her staff are exceptional. Recently, I had an emergency and they stayed after hours to see me. Then, her staff followed up by text and phone until the problem resolved. Dr Martinez is an exceptional listener and asks astute questions. I can always see her personally. Her medical staff and front office staff are very responsive and always make every interaction easy and pleasant. My husband and I have been seeing Dr Martinez for years and are extremely pleased.

I'm really frustrated with how my appointment was handled. I canceled because of a mistake on your office's part, and now I'm being turned away because of your policy? This lack of communication has made me reconsider going to your office at all. I expected better!

Warm and caring, well-trained and up-to-date, examines all patients personally, explains diagnoses and management, reasonable charges. Good value for money. We wish all doctors were like her.

A good friend referred me to Dr Martinez. When I called during their advertised hours a recording informed me were closed with no reason offered. After several calls, that and following days, a receptionist answered. The receptionist informed me that Dr Martinez was simply taking some time off and would be in and out for the next few weeks. She informed me that they no longer took traditional medicare and tricare for life and that I would have to pay up front and seek reimbursement after my making payment. Guess I'll go elsewhere.

Dr. Martinez is a great doctor! She treats everyone with respect and dignity. She's very friendly and professional. Dr. Martinez is very competent at her chosen specialty. As a reference point, I have been a patient of hers for around 10 years. She has treated me for skin cancer which requires regular check-ups.

I cannot recommend Dr. Martinez, especially for anyone on a budget. I found her to be extremely inflexible and unprofessional in her approach. She advised me to have an expensive, unnecessary procedure. I explained that this would be difficult for me to afford on my salary. When I tried to schedule my next appointment, I learned that Dr. Martinez had limited my appointment time options to only the last slot in the day. Due to work commitments, this was impossible for me to make. I mentioned this to her nurse and was treated very disrespectfully. The next week, I received a "notification of termination" letter from Dr. Martinez, which informed me that I was no longer her patient. This was by far the Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor, anywhere. Dr. Martinez has been my dermatologist for at least 12 years. I continue to see her, even though I moved to another part of toem, because of my complete and total satisfaction with her and her staff. I have leukemia and am very aware of any spot or bump or blimish. Dr. Martinez has always taken the time to explain the nature of every matter I have noticed and many she noted that I did not. Her She and her staff have been nothing but highly professional and attentive to my needs.I saw her today: at the exact scheduled time her nurse took me to an exam room, asked about any special concerns I had and said Dr. Matinnez would be right in. She was. After answering at least 10 questions I had, she identified each spot and made a note to follow up on one that is likely no more than a scratch. The entire experience was profesional, attentive and friendly. I have referred friends and associates to her and everyone has been as pleased as I have been. She will be my dermatologist as long as she… is practing.

First time I visited Dr. Martinez's office, I knew I found a good doctor. Her staff was very professional and courteous and her office was clean and warm.Dr. Martinez has diagnosed several skin cancers on me and has taken very good care of me. I visit her every 6 months and I have always been pleased with my visits.

I must say Dr. Martinez is great with kids, there are not alot of Dermatologist in Austin that see won't see small children, some have an age limit or you get to see a PA( I prefer to see and MD) but she was quick to get me in for my son's rash, which turned out to eczema and put him on a great regimen to help with his condition. I have blessed to have found such a wonderful, compassionate doctor for my son.
