He spent like 10 mins with us and charged so much for that. Didn't give any good advice based on patient's current test results. All he can tell is to do another test.

Dr Dedmon was very kind knowledgeable kind and thoughtful very helpful and also explained things to me so i understood them also very responsive via email and he even took the time to personally call me to answer questions and assure me of things ill never have a diff ENT thank you dr Dedmon .....brandy hughee

Dr. Dedmon tried to remove ear wax from our 3 month old daughter's ear for about 10 seconds before giving up because she was moving. We ended up getting a second opinion at Duke because of how inept he was, and the first thing the second opinion doctor did was show us how to hold her head so she couldn't move while he examined her ear. The second opinion doctor then went on to say how her ear wax did not need to be removed, and that the suggested follow up treatment we were double checking would likely fail as well. The funny thing was that we got charge for REMOVAL IMPACTED CERUMEN INSTRUMENTATION UNILAT - 69210 (CPT®) for the 10 seconds of an unnecessary failed procedure that Dr. Dedmon was too unskilled to perform... Shame for UNC pediatric ENT department.
