Dr. Mauricio J Castellon, MD

I had a bad reaction to laser treatment and when I went in the office, I was recommended a skin brand that one of the estheticians knew because she used to work with the owner. So, I reached out to my dermatologist in New York City and got a skin lightening cream to treat the hyperpigmentation. I asked for a refund for the remaining 3 sessions as I can't do them due to the scars. Although the scars are improving, it will take some time to get back to normal. During my appointment today, Castellon suggested that I wear pants and jeans (despite the hot weather in Florida) and asked me to schedule another appointment in March. However, I received no help for the scarring and they refused to refund me as they have to wait for Castellon's decision. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and will be filing one with the Florida Attorney General. If my refund is not issued, I must escalate the matter through other legal options.

I went to Dr Castellon in Jan of 2019 for breast reconstruction. It should have been a 2 operation and finish in 6 months but took him 6 operations and almost 2 years. Infections were the first problems (which he didn’t look at cultures for 4 days so I was in the wrong antibiotic for those extra days). Gave me a hematoma (which an infectious disease Dr had to tell me about and Castellon said he knew I had already). He popped an expander. Put an additional scar on me that he didn’t tell me he was going to put so I’m cut across and under both breasts. Off center cleavage which he said he would fix but didn’t. Then after the final surgery when I questioned him on what to expect, he literally cussed me out. Told me I was turning into a cosmetic B*#ch and I need to stop busting his F#€%ing balls. Talk about surprised! Not even two days out of surgery and to be treated like this?! He has issues. I pray anyone seeing him goes for a second opinion.

Dr. Castellon and his staff are just absolutely amazing. I have been wanting a "mommy makeover" for a very long time. It took many years and multiple consultations to make up my mind BUT recently I finally had my mommy makeover and I could not be happier with my results. Over the years they worked with me and were patient as having a big procedure was such a hard decision. I received two Votiva treatments at Dr. Castellons office. I did an extensive amount of research prior to my first visit, including where to go, how the treatment works, and what makes it so successful. I chose this office because of its outstanding reputation in Brevard. I noticed results immediately, and it kept getting better. My discomfort and such has completely subsided, and my partner surely is a fan of Votiva! I now receive a treatment annually! I like to refer to it as a “tune up” and believe any woman, especially after child birth, or as she ages, should ??% use this practice and Votiva. I never had surgery. My sister, a breast cancer survivor, insisted on Dr.Mauricio Castellon because of his expertise as a plastic surgeon, and her own personal experience. He listens to your concerns, answers your questions, and explicitly explains your options so that you are comfortable. His bedside manner on the day of the surgery is calming and impeccable. He has a true calming effect that makes you feel secure knowing you are in his care. I appreciate his proactive follow up and compassionate care, which extends to his office staff. I can’t say enough about their continued support. My results are amazing and astounding! I highly recommend Dr. Castellon!

This was my second breast augmentation. The first one was so painful I was scared to redo it. I was contemplating not replacing the implants, just have them removed. I was 29 when I had them fixed after 3 kids and in another state by another doctor. To make matters worse one implant had ruptured. My mind was thinking ‘Do I want to do this again?’ It took me a long time to decide. I decided to replace my old saline implants with Silicone as recommended. Right Before surgery Dr. Castellon tells me I will look just as good as when I first had them done. I look better!!
