She hurt me when she examined me and when I said what she was doing hurt me, she blamed me for it- felt assaulted. Then she dropped me as a patient - did not give her a glowing survey review. Imagine feeling violated by your Gyn. Her assistant saw it all during the exam. Skipped my annual this year. I’m traumatized.

Great experience! Doctor was very helpful helping me with my health issues. Would definitely recommend. Good bedside manner.

I will never go back to this doctor. she essentially told me I was fat, had acne and yelled at me for not being on birth control.She also tried to force an IUD even though I said I didnt want one. Overall terrible experience.

When she came in and asked what was going on, I started listing my symptoms. Extreme pain. Loss of weight. Vomiting. She continually interrupted and told me that each of my symptoms was not legitimate, that it was in my head. That if the symptoms were as bad as I said I wouldn’t be sitting in her office. My pain was apparently not pain. She refused to refill my birth control prescription.. She said when I want to have sex with someone next time, just come back and she’ll renew it- and until then I don’t need it.. As if I’d be able to predict this days before hand?? Not to mention without birth control I’ll spot for weeks. Then she told me to use heating pads and see orthopedics if I really can’t tolerate my apparent pain?? It turned out that I had appendicitis. My appendix ruptured and I almost died because she didn’t believe my symptoms. I’ve never been more upset with a physician.

Short and curt even though this was my first time seeing her. I am in my 20s and I was hoping to find a new OBGYN to create a long-term relationship with since moving to Pittsburgh. But she is not very warm at all and she didn't ask me anything personal about myself while she was looking at the computer most of the time. She was also not empathetic at all when I told her about my family hx of breast CA. And I do not believe she did a thorough breast exam (I am in PA school & have been trained to do complete breast exams). The pap smear was over quickly though and that's all I needed. Definitely will be looking for a different OBGYN who practices with more empathy and cares more to ask about my personal life and creating a relationship with her patients. I was a medical assistant for an amazing OBGYN before so I know what a good one looks like. Don't waste your time with this one unless literally all you need is a pap smear.

Dr Palayekar is the best physician I have seen till now. I was having a miscarriage and she managed me efficiently as well as comforted me emotionally during this trying time. I am visiting her now for my second pregnancy. I would recommend her to all my friends and relatives.

Dr Palayekar is an excellent physician. She is very knowlegeable and also a very nice person. She very willingly answers all your questions to your satisfaction and does not rush through the appointment.I would very strongly recommend this physician .
