Dr. Mehran Taban, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Taban since 2021 and genuinely wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes. He did my ptosis surgery and I’ve seen him for upper eyelid filler follow-ups. every single time, the results are subtle, balanced, and so natural. His work is artistry. Period. He has told me no to procedures I didn’t need. In a world where a lot of people just push treatments, he genuinely cares about long-term results and doing what’s right,, not what makes him the most money. Can’t speak more highly of him

Dr. Taban took excellent care of me during my upper and lower Bleph procedures. The procedure was fast and painless. The recovery process was as explained with minimal downtime, bruising and swelling. I highly recommend him as Oculoplastic Surgeon!

I’m about 4 months post op for upper/lower blepharoplasty and fat repositioning and the results are incredible. I went to see Dr. Taban for under-eye fillers because I read good reviews about him but now I see what people mean when they say that most reviews are fake. The first thing I noticed when I met him was his bad mood and poor bed manners. He appeared to be annoyed of having to do this and he even reminded me before injecting me that I had to pay him $900 while holding the syringe in his hand! He injected more filler on one side than the other and he refused to fix it immediately. Instead, he asked me to wait a month before he could fix it. I paid $900 and they asked me to advance money when I made my appointment over the phone, which I found weird but I did it thinking that they were honest. So, I patiently waited the month with one side of my face looking weird, and when I finally tried to get an appointment, they said that I needed to pay for the fillers again! He not only did a lousy job, but he wanted me to pay him more money! Now I have to go somewhere else to fix this bad filler

My insurance denied a claim and Mr. Taban is refusing to call and take care of this because of my honest opinion and review. Wow!!! DONT COME HERE!! THE WORST FACITY AND DOCTOR!!!!!!! This is a HORRIBLE FACILITY with the worst staff and response time. I cant believe i was referred here DO NOT COME HERE There are several places and doctors that are bettet Dont waste your time, money, and gain added stress Again DO NOT COME HERE Mehran Taban is HORRIBLE Be warned now DO NOT COME!!!!!!!!!

Aside from the fact that we are talking about eye surgery, which is never pleasant, my experience with Dr. Taban was very rewarding. I previously had procedures that involved fat injections and also injectable fillers and did that for several years. These deposits, added to the changes consistent with aging, resulted in an uneven and lumpy appearance of my lower eyelids, which always gave me a somewhat tired, underslept look. Dr Taban was able to change that. Using the incisions on the outside of the eyelids, right along the eyelash line, and in order to be able to remove some loose skin from there, he was able to access the fat deposits and reposition them lower, which resulted in fuller and smoother eyelid appearance. Call it eyelid sculpting, or molding, he is very good at it! Light touch, angelic hands, I am very thankful to be the recipient of his talent, skills and successful communication efforts and am sure that I will see him again.

DR. TABAN AGED me 25 years! I had a naturally high lid crease but his surgery ADDED heavy skin folds and lowered the crease, producing ugly, hooded, reptilian eyes. Additionally, my left and right lids are uneven. He refused to redo his botched surgery or reimburse me a dime! It has been an expensive and dispiriting ORDEAL. I have now paid for another surgeon to correct his work and that surgeon wa referred to me by Dr. Taban! Dr. Taban simply walks away rather than confront his professional negligence and then he hustles for positive reviews. Dr. Taban’s upper eyelid surgery cost me dearly: in dollars, time, appearance, pain, and distress and left me looking decades older.. When I complained, Dr. Taban wrote me off and referred me to another surgeon who corrected Dr. Taban’s work -- for an additional $5800! And that surgeon was Dr. Taban’s own referral.

Dr. Taban has been my doctor since 2011. Since the first day I met him he has always made me feel comfortable, he has made going though my eye problem easier to deal with I would recommend him highly. I feel very blessed to have him as my eye doctor

Dr. Taban is a true rock star. I was diagnosed with a very badly torn / detached retina, and rather than instantly taking the easier (and likely much more lucrative for him) route of full surgery, he suggested first trying his skills at a combination of 'gas bubble' and cryo (freezing) procedures. While not an option in 100% of cases, he suggested for mine it could be worth trying, vs. much more invasive full surgery. I agreed, and in short, he 'nailed' both procedures (and I also followed all post-procedure instructions perfectly), and only 5 weeks after the first procedure I'm now back to 100%. Very glad I found him, and I highly recommend for others.

Dr. Taban is not only one of the most Knowledgeable doctors that I have ever met in my life, but he is also the most caring. I felt as though my vision was on the top of his priority list. He not only answered all my questions, but he took the time to thoroughly explain my condition to me. Today I can confidently say that I owe my life to Dr. Taban, as he has saved me eyesight and has given me back my vision. His expertise is something I will never forget. I will always be grateful to Dr. Taban and strongly recommend his office to anyone.
