Run don't walk away from this place. The doctor should lose his license! And I do plan on reporting him to the board. Absolutely the WORST clinic out there. He does not care for his patients AT ALL. Unfortunately for me, he was the only specialist my primary doctor would refer me to. Really nasty, condescending receptionists. They just sit back behind the desk and gossip about the patients. Literly pointing and gigling. They somehow think it's funny for you to have to wait half a day to see this hack. The waiting room is packed shoulder to shoulder and I always had to wait at least 4 hours after my scheduled appt. He is only interested in MONEY! Doesn't really talk to you. Wont even look you in the eye or listen to any concerns. Rushes you through, but trust me, they wont let you out of the office until you pay! Not one friendly person in the office. If you want to feel like cattle, you've found your doctor! I have glaucoma but he refuses to refill my prescription unless I come in… during COVID. Without my prescription, I will have irreversible damage and could go blind. When I told the receptionist that and to please refill the prescription, she actually laughed at me. STAY AWAY! There are better doctors out there! He doesn't even deserve one star.

I got cataract surgery and he did very good job . I am very appreciated when I have my vision back clearly only after 10 days and there is no any problems during or after surgery . Thank you doctor very much . I feel safety and no scary at all . Your staff is great , too . They are very helpful , that s why your office is always busy and crowded .

Have to wait for hours. Many times im not on appt. System altho i have an appt. Card. They cancell my appt. Few times. Have been putting off my surgery without explanation. I habeen waiting gor my suegey 5 mos. Now

Dr. Aghai is knowledgeable and personable. He does spend time with you to explain what is going on. However, the wait time is over the top! The first time I waited 45 minutes in the Hawthorne office. I was told he was in surgery that lasted longer than anticipate. Ok, I went with that. My next appointment was in the Gardena office. I arrived in time for my 3:30 appointment and finally got in to see him at 5:30. I was told it was a Monday and he was seeing a lot of patients. If I hadn't already paid my copay I would have left. I don't intend to return as my time is valuable and there are other good doctors out there.

I have been going to Dr. Aghai for years and he really takes the time to let me know what's going on with my vision. Although he is busy, he really cares and spends time with you. A++++
