Dr. Melodie Schaefer, PhD

Dr. Melodie Schafer is far and away the most skilled, professional and effective therapist I've been to. I've been to two other therapist and they don't even compare. I started with personal therapy and later couples counseling. I can't begin to put into words the work we've done and how much better I am now. On both the personal and relationship fronts there there has been marked results. She will challenge you to grow and help show you the blindspots that are holding you back. If you are interested in really getting help and going deep, then she is the one to see. This is not easy work by any means, it's some of the most challenging work I've ever done both personally and in my relationship on every level . The rewards for showing up and doing the work are immense. I can't recommend her enough, and if you are fortunate to work with her and commit to a length of time, I'm positive you will se results.

I suppose for a person with severe disorders, she may or may not be effective. But, for my purposes, I find her helpful, friendly and informative. Don't run away....give her a try.

She was by far the worst therapist I have ever went to. She was always late, sometimes even 20 minutes. She was so rude and awful and has severe personality disorder. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

Not a great experience. Found way better options in the same area.
