Dr. Michael William Border, MD

This doctor did not practice good hygiene throughout my visit. He did not wear a proper mask, but instead wore a wash cloth/rag around his face tied by a shoestring, which kept it flapping as he spoke. He also did not sanitize his hands after typing on the keyboard and touching other papers, objects, and instruments in the room before touching my affected eye. Besides not feeling safe with his lack of proper hygiene, he was also completely cold in nature. When asking a question regarding my condition and it’s future, he responded with “well, life is tough”. He ended the visit by tossing papers at me and saying “give them to the lady” before walking out with any sort of medical conclusion or even an acknowledgement of leaving. I will never go back to this doctor and I would never recommend him. Be careful!

This doctor was absolutely horrible. He was rude and very impolite. Would not answer any questions I asked. Had the worst manners of anybody I ever met..especially from someone in the medical field. His staff is equally as rude and unaccomodating. I was left to suffer unnecessarily with a bad eye problem for 8 months because he claimed he was too busy to help me sooner. Not assisting someone with a vision problem that can be corrected is inhumane. In my opinion when it comes to eyesight that should be something that should be fixed way before 8 months of waiting. When I asked why he cant help me sooner rather than later he was cruel and nasty and said "oh well..you dont like it go elsewhere ". I told him I have contacted 10 other eye doctors but most were not accepting new patients and the others had only opticians and optometrists there..no ophthalmologists to perform cataract surgery. After a couple minutes of this doctor typing into his computer he got up and on his way out said he… would be back in a minute. An hour later I was still waiting for him to return and finally one of his staff came in and said he was too busy to come back but that I should go to the front desk to pay my fee and get another appointment. These people all had very deplorable manners and they were all insensitive and unprofessional

In my opinion I have never had a better eye doctor. He listens to you and takes as much time as necessary to answer all your questions. I have never had such a caring doctor. He also has a great support staff.
