This man has an attitude. Seems annoyed at having to be there at all.

I am deaf. I was in tears when I left. Dr. Comstock because he was extremely inconsiderate to my disability. Im addition, I felt he was biased in his professional evaluation telling me that my foot problems were due to my spine. I prefer not to even give Dr. Comstock any stars.

Rude. I was referred to him by another physician for AVN. He basically told me that what was on the MRI was not there. He then referred me to another physician who also works with Duke. I wouldn't take my dead dog to this man. I am seriously considering taking my diagnosis and images to the medical board. He needs to find another profession.

No beside manner at all. He did surgery on me for a torn meniscus and I'm in more pain a month after surgery than I was before. His answer is ibuprofen which I can't take and closest appointment would be a month away.

Ignored post-op signs of infection. Six months after surgery and after two rounds of antibiotics that helped tremendously, but still haven't resolved the issue, and I still am no where near the point I was before surgery. I'll never go back.

After months of numbness and burning in both of my hands I was referred to Dr Comstock. I left each appointment baffled as to why he could not understand nor diagnose the problem I was having. Was sent to have a nerve study done, where the neurologist stated that is one of the worst cases of carpel tunnel he had ever seen. Two weeks after the nerve study Dr. Comstocks staff contacted me for an appointment. I had not had a solid nights sleep in 4 months due to the pain in my hands and the burning which now went to my elbows. He prescribed a pain med and scheduled a surgery day. His. He'd came in and told me we will make sure you are comfortable and the surgery would be about a half hour. On the day of the surgery I told the nurse and Dr Comstock the the pain medication he prescribed made me sick and extremely irritable. His response was take it with food and walked off. Time came for the procedure and I was wheeled into the room. He began and told me I would feel a little burning and… pressure. I felt every single second of the procedure at one point bucking against the strap that held me to the table. After completion of the procedure all I wanted to do was leave. Have not received a call yet for a post op follow up. One thing that stands out the most is he was more concerned with his wife's sky diving adventure in Switzerland than the patient in front of him. Please go see the many other talented physicians who have a bed side manner and actually care about their job and not the pay check it produces

I had meniscus surgery with Dr. Comstock because my knee was popping & locking. When I returned for my post op I told him I was having the same problem. He became rude & obnoxious. I sought a 2nd opinion Dr. gave me a cortisone shot & said the surgery I had was not necessary.

Dr. Comstock and his staff are great. I have seen him several times and have never had to wait long to see him. He always takes time to talk and treat the knee pain

Missed a pre-opt appt with dr. comstock on jan. 7. Rescheduled for jan. 8. Upon entering exam room he immediately began badgering me for missing the appt. I was caught my complete surprise with his insulting comments. Of course i cancelled the scheduled surgery. I had never missed a previous appt with Dr. Comstock, nor even rescheduled one

Easiest operation of my life. Treated great by staff. Dr described options and was very reassuring. Operation was over in just a few minutes and I was walking out of the hospital earlier than scheduled. Had complete use of hand right away and no more numbness and pain. Scar was hardly visible in 4 Weeks. Completely Happy.
