Dr. Michael Feign

Dr. Michael Feign has worked with me for 9 years now. 9 years ago a partial knee replacement took me from not being able to walk without pain and a limp, to getting back on a bike, and racing competitively within 1 year at age 56. 9 years later, I am now facing a total knee replacement and could not possibly have more confidence in him and his team. Will be proudly chronicling the surgery, recovery, and process to get back racing on our Avid Cyclist website

My mother just had total knee replacement yesterday with Dr Feign. I wasn't impressed at all. Her O2 levels immediately after surgery were low below 90 but would sometimes go above 90 if she focused on deep breathing so they sent her home with no oxygen thinking she would be fine. Later that night her O2 levels dropped to 76 and her heart rate fell to 57 (normal for her is 85). She called the office and left messages 5 times that night and the next day and never even received a phone call back. Finally on the 6th attempt she demanded to speak to anyone who could help. Their recommendation was to spend the money and go to ER instead of simply ordering her oxygen which they were going to do anyway immediately after the surgery but for some reason that was a problem ordering oxygen the day after surgery! I've had 6 surgeries myself and I always receive a call from the doctor's office the next day to check on me. Apparently this office not only doesn't follow up the next day but also… won't return 5 voice messages!! Absolutely unacceptable and I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone! Also, wouldn't give a time for the surgery until late the day before the surgery. I've never personally had the experience myself. And when I went to pick her up the office was empty at 2 in the afternoon!

Dr Feign is a very good Dr. My Dr retired and I went to Dr Feign. He was very focused in on my issues and knew what I was talking about when I explained my concerns. I was very impressed with the fact that he gave me options and explained each one thoroughly to me. I was able to make a good choice based on his detailed analysis.

The BEST with everything!! Dr. Feign and his staff restored my quality of life and I'm eternally grateful to them!!

Dr. Feign replaced both of my knees! Best decision ever made, and best Doctor ever chosen! I am able to travel all over the world once again, from the Great China Wall, which has many steps to Machu Picchu, again MANY steps, to shark cage diving it South Africa! I can do it all! no, it wasn't easy at first, but i kept moving, walking, as the more you do, the faster and better you heal! You can'tsit on yoyr butt and hope your knees will heal on their own! I waited almost an hour and a half with no apology and Dr Feign was curt and seemed like I was wasting his time. He acted defensive when I asked questions I felt as if I had done something wrong.
