Dr. Michael Harry Goldstein, MD

I saw Dr. Goldstein during late 2013 for a moderately serious corneal condition. I hadn't seen an ophthalmologist in over 5 years, so this was an important appointment where I hoped to discuss treatment options in depth. The bottom line is that the appointment was rushed and Dr. Goldstein did a poor job explaining treatment options despite repeated questions. Dr. Goldstein seemed to have a cheerful, positive attitude, but his explanations were brief and often vague. To add insult to injury, Dr. Goldstein spent more time explaining my condition to two different residents. There was also a substantial wait time before the brief visit with Dr. Goldstein. Additionally, there was 5 month delay in scheduling a follow-up visit with an optometrist, and the office staff were not helpful in figuring out whether the visit and the contact lenses would be covered by my insurance.
