If you want to ACTUALLY see a neurologist, you will need to go to another doctor. After the THIRD time to be rescheduled for my Mother, I will find a doctor that ACTUALLY wants to see his patients

Terrible experience for my mother in law! Had a phone appointment and he is EXTREMELY unprofessional. Dr. Hummer answered his personal cellphone during her appointment while on the phone with my mother in law he couldn’t even give her the 15 minutes of his payed time! Even more appalling, Dr. Hummer blatantly called her a LAIR about having a panic attack while having a mask and cage on her face during an MRI. Extremely disappointed in the “care” of this doctor.

I went to Dr. Hummer after years of dealing with what my family thought to be nerve related pain after suffering a TIA. He sent me to an MRI place that he said was in my network. He NEVER followed up after the MRI. I called and the front desk said "If something was wrong, he would have called you." After a year, I received a bill for $67k for the MRI that was apparently... out of network. The billing company said they had up to a year to file out of network bills and they literally waited a year. I called the MRI place and had them give me everything they had on file to try and understand the charges. Come to find out, there were multiple anomalies on my scan. Angry, I looked into the billing company too -- they were currently involved in a lawsuit for working with neurologists to pay them "up to $50,000 extra for services from insurance companies." THIS MAN IS A SCAM.

He sent me to some random out-of-network place for my MRI, though he is an in-network doctor. The charge for the MRI is $59,200. That is NOT a typo. As for the doctor, he reads the test results and has to look up what the words mean. I am not sure how he got his license. You tell him your symptoms and 2 minutes later he forgets what you told him.

Ordered an MRI for a Traumatic Brain Injury. MRI's DO NOT PICK UP TBI's. Obvious Neuro Deficits and was not RX'ed Speech, OT, or PT much less counseling. Plan on writing the Review Board since his CORPORATION CLINIC terminated me as a paitient for MisDiagnosing. Now in a TBI REHAB Facility! Had he DX me properly, I may have made some better gains.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hummer for 2 yaers and every time I go into the office the staff is different. Dr. Hummer him self is a very nice man but, the Office in genenal in disorganized and if you could be charged for someone they will charge it for you. everything from being late to lab work you don't need to make a buck.

Dr. Michael Hummer is the finest doctor I've ever known. In a long chronic illness, I've met too many. Dr. Hummer outshines them all in knowledge, compassion, empathy and care. He is a brillaint, joyful man who I feel honored to know. I've been his patient for 12 years and he's never once treated me with anything less than absolute kindness & respect. He has stabilized a complicated condition that was out of control & dehabilitating. While under his excellent care, I have seen substantial improvement. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hummer's overall goodness. I hold him in the highest of high regard. If all doctors were even half the doctor he is, there would be less suffering in the world.

Excellent...I found this Doctor in Austin Monthly's Best Doctor's Issue. He is amazing and works well with diagnosing injuries that are not visible to the average doctor. Thank you for your excellent mannerisms.

While the Dr. was late for the Appiontment I was waiting for abour 45mins. The Staff has no idea of whats going on. I was called twice by has staff to cancel the appiontment because Dr was going on Vaction didn't they know that before I got the appiontment. The RX had to be filled out twice because his MA's wrote them wrong twice. The front office stafff and the back office staff are just slow in every way. The Dr his self is nice but acts like he is to busy to talk any longer then 10 mins with you.
