Dr. Michael Todd Monroe, MD

Michael Monroe M.D., was the lead surgeon referred by the UMC Major Trauma Center hospital is Las Vegas. He just performed my surgery right before Christmas and made only a few small incisions on my knee and lower thigh area for a ACL and meniscus tear while replacing my ligament of the torn ACL, by removing another ligament of mine and placing it where needed. Dr. Monroe has “fixed “ people that I have sent to him when other doctors have butchered them seemingly beyond repair. I am very skeptical about doctors in the Las Vegas area. Some have done herendous things to patients. Dr. Monroe is certainly The exception. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a pleasant bedside manner.

Dr. Monroe is Michael on the second visit. Unfortunately I have needed his services. He is direct and explains diagnostic tests clearly and gives the options for best results. I am confident in his care. The staff is great too.

Dr. Monroe has done an ankle fusion on me and most recently, rotater cuff repair. The staff helped me when I was out of state and fell, in tremendous pain and ordered meds and MRI. Specialty Surgery Center staff was fabulous and Dr. Monroe did a great job on the shoulder repair! His attention to my fears and explanation of surgery was exemplary and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Michael monore saved my life. I was in a severe car accident which left me with broken bones from the neck to my feet. He performed emerency tramua surgery. I have metal in my legs an elbow. I often get compliments on my scars due to how straight they are. He has great physical thepary staff who changed my life. Monore knows what is wrong with you an how to fix the problem. I owed him over a hundred thousand an he continued to work with me for years. Id reccomend this doctor to anybody. After having him work on all my surgerys I wont go to anyone else.

I had complete hip replacement surgery. Was sent home with just regular tylenol for pain that weekend. Little did I know how much is was going to hurt. When I called his answering service, the girl was not caring or understanding at all. Hours later I got a call from Dr. Monroe. He is an avid golfer, so I have a pretty good idea of what kept him occupied. I could not believe my ears when he refused to give me anything else for my excruciating pain.

Dr.Monroe is very skilled and very professional, also has good work ethics.

I had multiple fractures in my heel and foot. He was able to successfully repair the fractures.

Honest doctor. Not what I wanted to hear about my ankle but gave me a well educated opinion and options for treatment. Most doctors in this town want your insurance billing and take you to surgery. Conservative and honest. Well educated! should have saw him first.

Dr. Monroe performed several surgeries on my crushed ankle. I thought he was great. He explained things and answered all my questions. My only problem is the wait time during an appointment. I would consider him for future ankle-replacement surgery (when and if it's every perfected).
