Dr. Michael Hung Phung, MD

Dr. Michael Phung is the kind of doctor you would want to take care of any member of your family and love ones whenever they are sick. He wil take time with you and would not rush you for the next person. He treats everyone as if they are part of his own family. He is a caring and humble man. He really feels the pain and suffering of his patients. If you are in the hospital, he will come and visit you even if it means at 11pm to check on you. His daughter-partner is just as good as he is. They are a good team and I would recommend them to anybody who asks me for a good family doctor and cardiologist. As to his wife Kelly , just ignore her, she's just talks a little rough...but she's ok. She doesn't mean any harm..

I have been a patient of Dr Phung for many years and I can say he is a very good doctor with excellent bedside manners. However, his wife who manages the clinic is extremely rude and arrogant and that is an understatement. The reason I come back despite the wife’s attitude is what I already stated above - Dr Phung is a very good doctor.

Dr.Phung is a nice and knowledgable person.But his wife Kelly Phung is the meanest person I have meet.She acts as if she is the Doctor and tackless when she talked to patients.When in fact she only depend on his husband and no work.You have to call their office first before you can fax papers needed like test result and she always ask your name if she allows you too.His wife will be the reason if the patients don't go back to see Dr.Phung and she hates her countryman Vietnamese.Kelly should think that we the patients are the reason why their office still open and get their money.I hope Dr.Phung will talk to his wife regarding this matter so we his patients will go back to his office with a peaceful mind.

The doctor wants patients to pay the deductible upfront. I do not have co-insurance under my policy. The normal procedure is for the physician to submit the bill and whatever is not covered by the insurance, a bill will be sent for the patient to pay "patient's responsibility as per the EOB. Unfortunately, this physician wants payment in advance.

Dr. Phung takes time to discuss patient's concerns. He is an excellent doctor.
