Dr. Michael Franz Raab, MD

Dr Michael Raab is the physician for Arden Courts, a memory care facility in Ft Myers, FL, who made many questionable decisions and lack of decisions about my mother's care during her one year stay. Lack of a pain management program, lack of xrays to confirm pneumonia, lack of transport to an emergency room to do a cat scan of her head and eye after a major fall that caused major black, blue, purple and red marks on the entire side of my mother's face plus her eye swollen shut, a big bump on her head, shoulder, right side of her body, and knee, not prescribing medication for a sinus infection, lack of care for my mom's toes/feet and infection on her legs, the list goes on. Stay away from this doctor and facility called Arden Courts. My mom recently passed away and we firmly believe it is due to the lack of proper care given by the doctor, executive director and entire facility. When my mother was finally taken to the emergency room after suffering from major abdomen pain, the ER doctor… said that several falls in just a few weeks is alarming, she was malnourished and dehydrated and given an iv with potassium for a week in the hospital. If my mom had been given the proper advice by the doctor and director to bring in hospice or a private nurse to assist with eating and walks, then maybe my mom would still be alive. it is a tragedy that this happened and we hold this doctor and facility accountable.

ANYONE brake checking another vehicle is wrong, as it could end someones life ... but for a doctor to do that!?!

Avoid this Dr..

Excellent Diagnosis and Treatment, after over 4 years I hope he sees us through to the end. Can't do it without Dr. Raab.

Dr. Michael Raab is not a movement disorder specialist and he is certainly not board certified in this specialty. He is a family practice physician with dubious geriatric specialization. He has not completed a rotation in Neurology, let alone movement disorders. Please contact the Florida Department of Health with your concerns or questions
