Best ophthalmologist I’ve ever been to!

Highly recommend

Dr. Raizman - is a compassionate doctor that has a very calm demeanor. I have had two cornea transplants in the past. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone I know. If I had to have any more surgeries or work done on my eyes I would not seek a second opinion. That is how much I would trust him.

I highly recommend Dr. Raizman. He, as well as his staff, were extremely empathetic and understanding. Starting with making my appointment to checking in with the receptionist the day of my appointment, seeing his PA then seeing his Fellow and culminating with seeing Dr. Raizman I could not have been more impressed!!! There truly are no words then can fully express how pleased I was with my experience with his whole staff. Excellent is the best word I can think of to describe it!!!!

My mother saw Dr. Raisman for a rare & complex eye surgery. She is elderly & has had numerous major eye surgeries in the past. Though the surgery has been a success, she was sent home with no medication for pain. She was in terrible pain for days following the surgery. When she asked about getting some medication for pain at her follow up appointment, she was told she didn't need it. So, despite max doses of Tylenol and Ibuprophen (not safe), she is still miserable. I understand the need for doctors to be cautious about pain medication prescriptions, but she did not have a routine eye operation. There is NO reason for an elderly woman to spend days in terrible pain with no relief. SHAME on Dr. Raisman for putting his concerns above the care of his patients.

Dr.Raizman knows his stuff. I received PRK laser surgery from him. I was skeptical but when i met him he made me very confident in the surgery. I ended up getting the surgery two months later. He told you every step that was happening during the surgery and it was really quick. No pain and it was a very short surgery (ten minutes). He is great at answering all your questions and he is very straight forward. It's hard to find someone you trust taking your eye sight into their hands but i had full faith in this guy. I had myopia and an astigmatism and now my vision is great. Thanks to him i can now enter a career that requires good visual acuity. A+ Lasik eye surgeon. Highly recommended.

Dr. Raizman is simply the best at what he does and is not hesitant to refer you to another specialist for issues better suited to them. I was referred to him almost 3 yrs ago. I trust 100% in his judgement, acuracy, knowledge and talent. He seems to actually care about his patients.. a rarity in today's world. My situation has been a rather unique one and hopefully is comint to a permanent resolution in the Q1 2013.
