Dr. Michael Jacob Schwartz

He is very kind and knowledgeable. Always listens to what i think and feel. He is always telling me new things he learned at conferences. Good people for sure.

I went to Dr. Schwartz for years and I loved him. He was a fantastic doctor and he really cared about me, my health and managing my pain. I read the other reviews and they were harsh and as far as I am concerned they were untrue. He did have problems with his staff and the most part they were not very friendly but as far as Dr. Schwartz, he always treated me with respect and he cared very much that I could live a life without constant chronic pain. He was the only Doctor that I ever went to that found the right medications to allow me to live a half way normal life without being in horrible chronic pain. No one can ever prescribe enough medications to remove your pain completely but a good doctor can prescribe the right medications that will allow you to function and ease your pain enough so you can get your mind concentrating on other things. Dr. Schwartz did this for me and allowed me to live my life with out thinking of suicide all the time. I miss him very much and wish he… would practice again. Very few Doctors have his knowledge and his understanding and pain management. I consider him a fantastic Doctor.

I had him as my pain mgmt. doctor for awhile. He is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He is rude, condensending, uncaring, and thinks he is God. He does not listen to his patients!! He thinks he knows your body better than you do!! If he were the only pain management doctor available, I would suffer rather than go to him!!! He always kept me waiting for hours and then rushed through every visit! The man needs to be struck with a debilitating injury and have to see a doctor that is as bad as he is so he would know what it is like to be treated like a dog. DO NOT BOTHER seeing him unless you like being treated badly!!! Don't be the painful patient that helps him pay for expensive cars & house. That is the only reason he is a doctor!! It is truly sad!!!

overall the wait was horrible, last appointment went and the office was closed for good, no call from office to explain this. Doctor seems like a prima donna, expecting to have patients wait for him for hours ( one time it was 4 hours) however if you are minutes late they reschedule you. I waited for 4 hours ( not a typo) with no apology and no explanation. If you complain he threatens to drop you as a pt, and there are few pain doctors in this area.

Every single time we have been to this doctor, the wait time is over 2 hours. What is the point of making appointments you cant keep? Luckily I am retired and dont have to get permssion from an employer to go to these appointments. However, I overheard another patient and their caretaker complaining that they had to take off work and were constantly late returning to work with this doctor. The doctor clearly needs help in the form of a partner or P.A.

I found that dr Schwartz had a extremely high turn over in both nurses & PA's. The majority of his office staff is rude.He changes policies often as well.His latest change is making his patients fill out a form of the meds they are taking the strength & how often you take it!! This has to be filled out each visit, the office staff advised me to fill one out except the date & make copies, to save me the trouble. The form is pointless because hisnurses go over your chart & ask you the same questions!!!

This doctor I would recommend to anyone that has a chronic pain condition. My first appointment he spent over an hour with me, talking, LISTENING and then looking at all the different options available to help improve my quality of life. He is thorough, consistant and safe, in that he follows up with all his patients to make sure the treatment plan is working and makes changes when they are not. He communicates well with other doctors in my care and is always on top of the newest treatments and medications that become available. He has called me at 7:00 in the evening on a weekend when I had a problem to help with my situation. He truly cares for his patients and treats them with dignity and respect.
