Dr. Michael Vivian is probably the worst psychiatrist I have ever had. He is a pill pusher and has made it to where I'm scared to even get off my medication because of what it could do to me. He makes you wait hours for your appointments and his staff. His staff is nothing but rude. Slamming the glass in your face yelling at you and treating you less than. This place makes you want to do everything you're trying not to do. I DO NOT recommend an alcoholic psychiatrist for anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this money hungry pill pusher. Trust me.

Very supportive, understanding, and thorough in assessment, and management of medication. Needs better office staff.

Rushed us in. Okay getting background from us, the parents.Again, rushing us by mentioning time is running out.Did not acknowledge my child till he (Dr.) was ready to speak with my child.Within 5 min. of speaking with child. Then Dr. tells us he can't help him, that he does not do therapy and recommends someone else. Upon pressing him, he say's he only diagnoses patients.Very disappointed. Why did we wait 6 weeks to see someone that could not help us!!!

This psychiatrist is the best in Ventura County (if not even Santa Barbara County).He is excellent in drugs and very knowledgeable. He is very empathic. Highly recommended.

Overall, I found my visit to Dr. Vivian to be very satisfactory. He took all the time in the world to get to the bottom of the problem (s). He genuinely cares. Highly recommended.
