Michael Yurubi, DO

Michael Yurubi, D.O., is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment muscular-skeletal system injuries. He is fluent in English and Spanish.Prior to joining Baptist Health in in 2022, Dr. Yurubi completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship for Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute, part of Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. During his fellowship, he researched ortho-biologics and platelet-rich plasma. Dr. Yurubi uses ultrasound guided procedures to provide the most innovative and effective care for his patients. He is a contributor to residency telemedicine curriculum development and is an active member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and the American Association of Family Practice.
