Dr. Michele Ofner, MD

This place is a joke. Accepted me as a patient, made me wait 2 months for the appointment, then told me at the visit itself that they wouldn’t take my case and that I “wasn’t scheduled appropriately” and apologized. Total waste of time, lost work, and completely negligent intake/scheduling process. Don’t waste your time. They don’t know what heir doing.

Not only is she pompous and dismissive, she misdiagnosed my Meige syndrome and told me to see a psychiatrist instead. It took going to University of Pennsylvania to be correctly diagnosed. She is a terrible doctor.

Horrible!!!! No Bed Side Manner! After, Dr. Ofner was briefed by the nurse who did my BP; went over medications i currently take & briefly why I am there to see Dr. Offner. Ofner walks in and says straight out: “I don’t know what you want me to do for you I looked at her and said you are a Neurologist; correct? I had lost my balance, speech problems; severe migraines, she referred me to a PT for Gait issues, I went…the place was dirty & smelled, definitely needed to upgrade the PT tables and machines. Needless to say, I did not go a few days later I had a mini stroke and ended up in Sebastian Hospital. So a second neurologist, Vero Beach I have found to be incompetent.

Dr. Ofner has literally put my mind at ease. Taking the Utmost care to look at every possibility all while being so incredibly caring and informative. I am so incredibly glad to have found her.

I have been a patient of Dr Ofner's for 7 years. She is wonderful. Takes all the time you need and listens to you! I would recommend her highly. She is professional and very caring.

Have seen Dr. Ofner for over four years now. We came up with a plan of action to help my conditions. With follow up appointments and tweaking of medications my experience has been a positive one.

Worst doctor EVER! Was having a good day with a pain level of 3. During her evaluation, she hurt my back further, increasing my pain level to 9. She showed no emotion or concern when my back pain increased, did not ask any questions about where my pain increased and refused to allow me a minute to collect my thoughts. I have no idea what she told me my options were as the pain had been blinding and I could not concentrate. I left barely able to walk and will not be returning to see this doctor as she is inhumane. Geez, my dog gets treated better at the vet!

talked down to me

I am 31 years old and this is the only doctor I have ever seen that I refused to follow up with! She is very impatient, uncaring, and got very irritated when I struggled to find the words to explain my very scary experience to her. She does not have the heart of a caretaker. She honestly made me feel like an idiot who was a bother to her, instead of a person that she could help. I would never recommend her services to anyone.
