Dr. Michelle Y. Louie

She is respectful and listens - but already has her mind made up without regard to your input. I've had my various diseases for longer than she's been a doctor, and my previous doctor moved away. I complied with everything she wanted me to do, as I always have with every doctor, even thought the plan of treatment she decided had not worked in the past, which she knew. It seems she goes from a textbook idea of what "should" work rather than looking at what actually does. As a specialist in a field where OBGYN type diseases can be vastly different between patients, I would think she would be more open to trying something that does work, and appreciating that doctors before her might have had the best plan of care all along. I don't know if it's an ego or pride thing, but there was no reason to change my plan of care to something that we already knew wouldn't work, except maybe so she could prove it to herself. Which is a terrible way to treat a patient.

I had a total hysterectomy and one ovary removed. very good surgeon. I really like that she is VERY responsive as compared to most doctors. As in, she gets back to you quickly when you reach out to her. Also I had a post op infection/pain and she was very aggressive and thorough in treating it. She wasted no time and kicked its a**! I had chronic pain after this for a long time due to abdominal adhesions. (Not her fault and unknown at the time it was adhesions) During this time there was a time or two I felt dismissed and didn’t know what to do. It was hard emotionally due to the daily pain and not knowing where to go for treatment. But In the end it worked out well and she has always been respectful and nice. I would recommend her for sure!

Dr Louie removed a very large fibroid from my very large body. I was unsuccessful loosing the weight to have the surgery by another doctor. Recently I experienced complications from the fibroid then was referrred to Dr Louie. Her matter of fact approach wasn’t her ego it was her confidence. Whenever my nerves got the better of me waiting for my surgery date - I would reflect back to the day I met her and the look on her face...CONFIDENCE! My post appointment was made before I had the surgey and I already received a call from her staff with a card about my recovery. I am mending very well and know I will continue to have excellent care while doing so. Thanks to Dr Louie

Absolutely love Dr Louie. She found the source of my pain after I have been already to 2 Drs. She is amazing,caring and listens to how you feel. I'll def go see her for any SX I need in the furure.

Does not listen to her patients! Not sure if its due to inexperience or her ego, but this doctors judgement calls are seriously in question. I told her what pain medications work for me and she instead prescribed me one that sent me into respiratory distress! News flash: Everyone is not an opioid addict as some of us only use pain medications as prescribed. Expect this doctor to somehow screw up the plan of care, then call you to apologize. I would recommend you go to anyone, but her.

Dr Michelle Louie is amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs her help. She is the best!

Dr Louie has taken excellent care of me! She’s been caring for me for nearly 3 years. Most recently preformed a hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis. She’s a wonderful doctor, very responsive, and has good bedside manner! I’m happy to call her my dr.
